Like usual, Samantha too got up just as the first rays of the sun entered her room. She was still in a daze when she felt the softest and most comfortable bed she had ever slept underneath her and she frowned lightly. 'Why does my bed felt so great today? Did they change the beds for the servants? But why was I not informed?' She thought and blinked her eyes open, forcing herself to wake up.
The room was still dark as the fire in the hearth had extinguished and the curtains had been drawn. But the sun's rays peeked through them enough to illuminate the room for Samantha to see. Only then did Samantha realize where she was. 'Ahh, I now understood why the bed felt so comfortable and cozy.' She sighed and sat wondering how her life had changed in an instant.
