"Itri, show them their room. Let them settle their luggage first." Lily ordered, and Itri stepped forward. She smiled at the two girls who returned them happily before she led them towards the maid's quarters. She pushed back all her anger she had after speaking to Sophia and greeted the two girls who were looking around them in wonder.
Itri chuckled at seeing their reaction. "Is everything alright?"
Her voice brought the girls out of their reverie, and one of them, who she deduced to be Annie, nodded at her. "Yes, yes, everything is fine. We are just happy to be here."
Itri did not know how to respond to them. She had heard the way the servants and the maids were treated at Lady Davina's mansion, and she was glad that the King had sought out justice for them. Otherwise, they would have had to deal with the obnoxious and loathsome women for life.
