T H E A
The next morning I'm running late. My robes were a mess, I had all of five minutes to go and have breakfast, and only just managed to get a brush through my uncontrollable red hair. During all of this, James was fast asleep on my bed with no care at all. I grabbed the books I needed for my lessons and ran through the corridors in a weak effort to not be late.
Where was charms again?
I'm sure it was this door, but there's another class in there? I looked back and forwards, trying to work out my location. Why did Hogwarts look all the same. I wondered into the next corridor to find no doors at all, dammit!
I managed to find my way to the girls toilets, to think through what I was going to do next. I sat down on a bench and sighed, I'm sure that I knew the way to charms, obviously not. I huffed loudly in frustration, and leant my head against the cold wall behind me. I closed my eyes for a second and when I opened them, a pale translucent girl with pigtails and glasses was standing - no, hovering over me.
I screamed and stood up, the girl covered her ears and glared at me. "Why are you in here? This is my bathroom" I stepped away from her quickly, "I just needed somewhere to think, but I can leave you in peace if you want-" She shook her head and sat ontop of a sink, "No, you seem very familiar to me. What's your name?" I gulped and tried to calm myself down, "Thea, Thea Black" Her head seemed to tilt in confusion but she returned it to normal.
Her eyes seemed darker now, and her grey face held a frown. "Get out" I nodded quickly and hastily grabbed my books and high tailed it out of there.
I don't think she liked me very much.

I wondered around the castle for a while longer, basically I gave up on trying to find charms. My next class was potions, so I began the descent to the dungeons. I wondered why I hadn't seen another soul for a while, lesson one finished five minutes ago. I hurriedly made my way to potions and was overjoyed when I found the correct classroom. I opened the door, expecting it to be empty, but to my horror, the whole class was already there and the lesson had began.
I tried desperately to hide my face behind my hair, making my way to my seat, the teacher briefly looked back, an older man that had a rounded figure and brown robes on. But he turned back as soon as he seemed to turn forward. "Ah, Madame Weasley, what can I do for you?" The whole class looked back at where I was standing, but luckily I had found a seat at the very back so everybody was very confused.
A boy in the row in front of me raised his hand, the teacher seemed to notice out of the corner of his eye, "Madame Weasley isn't here, sir" The Professor furrowed his brows and chuckled. "My eyes and brain are getting old these days, my mistake"
He continued teaching and then set us some written work to complete, but as I missed some of the lesson, 98% of the questions I had no idea about. Randomly, the Professor called out, "Did Thea Black ever turn up?" I raised my hand, "Uh, yes sir". The Professor looked at me and seemed slightly taken aback, I had just appeared out of nowhere to him. "Ah yes, and why were you so late?" The whole class turned to me and my face went bright red, "Um, I got lost" The Professor didn't seen to believe me, "And apparently you weren't in Charms either." I nodded at him.
"Unfortunately, I am going to have to take 10 points from Gryffindor." The class groaned and glared at me. I shrunk back in my seat and tried to complete the questions to no avail. I nudged to girl next to me, "How do you do this one?" She shrugged and turned her back to me, I was about to asl the boy next to me but someone interrupted me, "Thea is cheating, sir" My mouth gaped at the girl two whole rows in front of me, calling me out.
The teacher looked up at me from his place, "Were you cheating, Thea?" I shook my head, "What were you saying then?" The girl who snitched on me said, I looked to the Professor desperately. "I just didn't know the answer to question 3" The whole class laughed at me, making my emerald eyes glass over. "It was not right to talk during a quiz, Thea"
It was a quiz???
"I didn't kn-" He interrupted me, "Sadly, although I don't want to, five points from Gryffindor for defiance of the rules" My eyes widened, that's fifteen points I've lost for Gryffindor already today, it's not even 11am.
"Now class, let's go through the answers-" I grabbed my stuff and left the class, I couldn't bare to me humiliated even more when I wouldn't know any of the answers. Or for the whole class to laugh at me again.

I went back to my dorm after potions and just held James and cried. My books were all scattered over the floor, and my discarded socks and shoes layed unkempt beside my bed. I never did care for their feeling on my body.
James was curled into my lap as I cried, when it was time for lunch, I was very hungry, but didn't want to face anyone. Or to see Gryffindor have the lowest points out of all the houses. I took off my robes, which just left me in my shirt, tie, jumper and skirt. I tried to lay them on my bed neatly and looked to James sadly. "What am I going to do, James? Everybody hates me. And I won't have made Sirius or Remus proud."
