My feet are numb. It looks like I am lying on a pond. I want to move but my body aches. What is this? From what I can remember I was just standing in the train station. Tired from football practice, I decided to take the train. But why does it feel like somebody beat the heck out of me? I tried to open my eyes to see where I was. It's dim, somebody turn the lights on please! I tried to talk but even my mouth seems to disobey. Suddenly, there was a noise coming from somewhere. It's like someone stepped on twigs.
"Who is tha?" was all I could say. Struggling to speak I tried to repeat it more loudly this time, "Who is that?"
"It's me Luna, don't worry, we'll go back to the pack," the voice said.
He sounded like a man. What a deep voice. He carries me in his arms carefully and walked. I still can't decipher where I am but it smells like trees and flowers. Maybe I'm in a garden or a forest? This man carries me with so much care that some of my worries ease away. He continued to walk and I became much more comfortable with warm breeze caressing me. Maybe I can trust this man.
"Who are you?" I tried my best to ask him.
"Luna, don't you remember? I am your beta," the man with the deep voice said.
"What's a beta?" I asked confusedly though I sound a bit of a drunk to him. He just continued to carry me. His expression is determined and a bit scary. After a few more steps, we got out of the forest and reached a small town. I tried to open my eyes and saw a grand palace. Another guy walked towards us. He was wearing a blue loose shirt with long sleeves and pants. He looks angry as he approached us.
"Looks like the mutt is not that easy to dispose," the other guy spoke with such distaste. Mutt? Are there any dogs with us?
"Shut up Aurelius. Be respectful to the Luna," the man carrying me said with a growl. A growl? Am I the mutt that this asshole talked about? Wait, Where the heck am I again?
Another guy with dark brown hair walked up to us. He is wearing an unbuttoned suit, under it is a polo and pants. His eyes turned from brown to golden and they are focused on me. The beta, who was carrying me, held me more protectively.
"Take her to the dungeon. This is no place for a Luna like hers," the man growled at me. Why do they growled? Are they talking about me? To the dungeon? I can only hope that this beta of mine stand up for me against these bullies. Good thing he seems protective and loyal as well.
