Chapter 13: Tragic point
After the day of after the day that Yamato signed the retrieval file, Kazumi felt nervous because they will retrieve Canna tomorrow morning. It was morning and Yuuki is still sleeping. "I guess i'll be the one to cook today." Kazumi starts to cook an egg and toast a bread. He also boils a water and starts to wake Yuuki. "Hey Yuuki, It's morning now." Yuuki is still half asleep when he stand up. "Here's coffee Yuuki. To wake yourself up". Yuuki thanked him for that. She drank her coffee and start eatung breakfast.
They start their officework when they got in the office. Encoding and updating the retrieval file of Canna. It was already noon when they finished encoding so they took a little break. Before they leave they receive an unknown number. Kazumi and Yuuki answered the call immediately and they recognize the voice of the caller. It was Yamato. His voice is quavering.
[Yamato]: Is this Machina limited corp.?
[Kazumi]: Yes, Mr. Yamato. How is Canna?
[Yamato]: Help me!
[Yuuki]: What happened?
[Yamato]: Canna... Canna was abducted while we are walking in our residence.
[Kazumi]: Canna... Is abducted?
[Yuuki]: We will respond at once. Please calm, we will bring her back.
[Yamato]: Please.
Kazumi and Yuuki immediately took action. They notify Naegi and Misato and everyone else in the branch. "So they are still active, and they took the worst time!". Naegi starts calling their CEO.
[Naegi]: Please answer this.
[CEO]: What is it?
[Naegi]: We have an emergency here.
[CEO]: What is it?
[Naegi]: Our retrieval target was abducted. I want to ask's for assistance for us to find them
[CEO]: Okay, i will contact our military.
[Naegi]: Military?
[CEO]: Got a problem?
[Naegi]: Ah, nothing. Thanks boss.
After the call, Naegi orders everyone to find clues on whereabout is Canna right now. Everyone leaves. Kazumi and Yuuki went to Yamato's house. When they got there, they saw Yamato crying.
[Kazumi]: Are you okay?
[Yamato]: Please... Bring back Canna.
[Kazumi]: Yes. Yuuki?
[Yuuki]: Yes?
[Kazumi]: Can you asked around this residence if they saw Canna?
[Yuuki]: Yes. How about you?
[Kazumi]: I will ask information to Yamato.
[Yuuki]: Got it.
Yuuki leaves to search for clues. While Kazumi asked Yamato where Canna is abducted. "She was abducted at amusement park here here in Quarter 1." Kazumi replied "Got it, Wait for us here, we will find her right away". Kazumi finds Yuuki and went back to office. When they got back, Naegi and Misato showed them where is the possible location of abductors.
[Misato]: Kazumi, Yuuki, We confirmed that the location of the abductors are also here in Quarter 1, and it's possibly that it's on the neighboring block of 4, Here.
[Kazumi]: Blocked 2?
[Yuuki]: Just who are them to abduct a machina?
[Misato]: I don't know. But we know that they a fragment of black market. Naegi.
[Naegi]: What?
[Misato]: Send the location to everyone, tell them to go at once.
[Naegi]: Okay.
[Misato]: Kazumi, Yuuki, you're going with me.
Misato, Yuuki and Kazumi hurriedly go to the location. While they are on their way, the military already obstruct the whole block 2 with barricades. The guards approched them and asked them to back off.
[Guard]: Back off now, Miss.
[Misato]: Why are you butting here? You don't even have an authority to obstruct them
[Guard]: I'm asking for your cooperation. Please back off now.
Kazumi recognize them, It was thw military. He instantly get angry to them and grited his teeth.
[Kazumi]: LET US IN!
[Misato]: Kazumi?
[Kazumi]: Ms, Misato, please, let's go now.
[Misato]: You really thinking what i think.
[Guard]: Huh?
Misato ignores them and enters the block. "Let's hurry, we need to find Canna now". It was the first time that Yuuki saw Kazumi that angry, his face is scaring her. "Why are you angry like that?" Kazumi replies with an angry voice. The military is here.
[Yuuki]: Military? Why?
[Kazumi]: They are treating machina's as a weapon and a tool.
[Misato]: Kazumi is right. Military is a scumbag who doesn't care about emotions especially if it's machina.
[Yuuki]: That's horrible.
[Misato]: But how did you harbor such hatred towards them Kazumi?
[Kazumi]: .....
[Yuuki]: Kazumi?
[Kazumi]: They are... The one... Who killed... My Mother and father.
[Misato]: WHAT???
