6 YEARS AFTER
SEUNGMIN
It's been a while since I came here in Korea since I left.
"Hey, let's go." I said, he nod so we went out of the car.
"I will just stay here at hotel. I will come to my friends too later." He said so I just nodded. We're staying for tonight in hotel. Maybe for one week. We're still looking for a house to stay.
"I will go to my friend now." I said.
"Ok. I'll just call you if I'm done meeting with my friend."
"Ok, I'm going." I said before kissing his cheeks and walk out of our hotel room.
After going out of the room. I immediately dialed my best friends number.
(This is Dr. Felix, how may I help you?)
"Good morning Dr. Felix. I want to have an appointment with you. Tonight?"
(Come again?)
"I want an appointment tonight. Are you free tonight Mr. Seo Felix."
(K-kim Seungmin?)
"Finally, what took you so long?"
(KIM SEUNGMIN.) Felix shouted, sounds like almost crying.
"Are you free tonight?"
(I'm free today. It's my off.)
"How about the others?"
(Timing, we're having a reunion. We want to invite you but we don't know where we can contact you.)
"Sounds good. What time?"
(Later at 10 PM. At the bar near at our place.)
"Just pick me up. I'm too lazy to find a place."
(Well, you never change. We will pick you up at 9:30. Where are you staying by the way?)
"I'll send you my place. I'll hung up now, goodbye Lixie."
(Bye Seungmo, see you later.)
I hung up the call and enter the cafe in front of me.
Since I don't have to do, I decided to just go at the mall but I'll just go later. I'm craving for cappuccino.
I ordered a cappuccino before looking for a seat but all of the seat are occupied. Except to the one seat at the back. I just walk there and take a sit. I don't have choice but to sit hear.
I'm waiting for my drink when someone texted me.
FROM: JAGI💖
My friends and I will go at the bar later tonight.
TO: JAGI💖
Timing, we're going out tonight too. What time will you leave?
FROM: JAGI💖
10 PM. How about you?
TO: JAGI💖
Same. And we're going at the bar too. Is it ok with you?
FROM: JAGI💖
Of course. You let me so I will let you too.
TO: JAGI💖
Oh, are you saying that you will not let me go if I didn't let you go too?
FROM: JAGI💖
Of course, just to be fair.
TO: JAGI💖
Whatever, I will be home at 7:30. I will eat dinner at the mall so don't wait for me.
FROM: JAGI💖
Ok, take care. I love you.
TO: JAGI💖
Take care too, I love you too.
I put down my phone when he stop texting. Because I'm busy with my phone, I was startled when someone was already sitting in front of me.
"Oh sorry did I---"
"Seungmin" "Hyunjin" We both said in unison.
"Oh well, long time no see Mr. Hwang Hyunjin."
"Nice to meet you too Mr. Kim Seungmin. How's life your life? Being the most famous and demanding photographer in the world."
"Good, how about you? The CEO of the most famous hotel chain in the world."
"Tiring but worth it."
He was about to say something when my order came.
"Cappuccino, I thought you like americano?" Hyunjin said while looking at my order. I sip before answering.
"Well, people change."
"When did you start to like it? I thought you don't like sweets."
"I started to like this because of my boyfriend. He really love sweets and cappuccino, he also like baking that's why I started to like sweets."
"You already have a boyfriend?"
"Yes, he's a famous model."
"Is that so? Congrats."
"How about you? How's your relationship with Jeongin?"
"Relationship with Jeongin? You're insane. We didn't have a relationship when you left."
"Is that so? Oh well, let's not talk about it if that so. Let's talk about your relationship."
"I don't have any."
"Really? I think you're really busy with your company that you can't even spare an attention for relationships."
"I think so."
"Anyways, are you going at the reunion later?"
"I don't know. I still have a meeting at 10. Maybe if it will be canceled I will come."
"Ok. Anyway, don't you have any schedule now?"
"Oh right, I have to go. Nice to see you again Kim Seungmin."
"Nice to meet you too Hwang Hyunjin."
Hyunjin left when I said that. He look more matured now. I think being a CEO suits him well because he looks handsome in suits and tuxedos.
I just finished my drink before going at the mall. It's still 1 pm so I still have 6 hours to go.
I first come at the jewelry shop. I need to buy them a gift.
It took me 5 hours to but them all a present. I don't know what they want now.
I go at the restaurant. I'm already hungry.
I ordered my favorite food. I miss eating in this restaurant. It's still the same restaurant 6 years ago.
I'm in the middle of eating when someone called me. It's Lixie.
"Felix."
(Oh you're eating.)
"It's ok, what is it?"
(Nothing, I'm just going to remind you later ok?)
"I know, you know that I don't forget things easily."
(I know, I just missed my best friend.)
"Awww, gross."
(Yah Kim Seungmin.)
"Love you too Seo Felix. Bye."
I didn't let him to talk before ending the call.
I finished eating before going back at the hotel.
"Jagi." I called out. He opened the door and help me with my things.
"You bought so many things." He said while looking at the paper bags.
"Yeah, it's my gift for them. Two of them have their child now so I bought toys."
"Really? I want to meet your friends. You never talk to me about them."
"You will meet them soon."
"Are you going to wrap this?"
"Nope. I'm just going to staple it. I will just arrange it."
"I'll help you."
I just nod so we start arranging it. After arranging it, he offered to staple it so I just go at the CR and start showering.
After showering, I changed to my comfortable clothes. Ripped jeans, white tee and a jacket.
"You look hot." He said while looking at me from head to toe.
"Stop that you pervert." I said and throw him the towel.
He enter the CR so I just prepared my things.
At exact 9:30, I heard a horn, followed by Felix's call.
(We're already here.)
"Coming." I said before ending the call.
"I'll take my leave now. I don't know what time I will be back. Bye." I said then kiss his lips.
"Goodbye, take care." He said so I take my leave along with my gifts.
Felix welcomed me with his warm smiling face.
"Kim Seungmin, I missed you."
"Miss you too. Let's go." He said so I nod at him.
We enter the car and Changbin started to drive.
"Yah Seo Changbin, are you married a koala?" I askaed while trying to escape at Felix's grip.
"I think so." Changbin said with a chuckle.
"Yah, I just missed Seungmo."
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever. Anyway, I will just left my gift for the both of you here."
We arrived at the venue at exact 10.
"Let's go, they're already here." Felix said so we nod and enter the bar.
I can see Chan hyung from here.
Felix go directly at them while me, still waiting for them to recognize me. I'm still not showing myself.
"Anyway guys, I have someone with me." Felix said when he realized that they can't recognize me.
I walk near to them and I cam see that they're all shocked.
"Seungmo." Jisung said then hug me. I just chuckled because of his action.
"Seungmin, welcome back." Woojin hyung said then patted my shoulder.
"Anyways, I have a gift for all of you. And Woojin hyung and Jisung, this is for the child of both of you."
"Aww, thank you. I will introduce you to Mika some other time." Woojin hyung said.
"I would love that."
"Geo will love this, thank you Seungmo." Minho hyung said.
"Am I late?"
A person at my back said. I rotate to see him. It's Hwang Hyunjin.
"Nope, just on time."
"What are you all doing here anyway. I reserved a VIP room." Hyunjin said.
"VIP room is too boring." Jisung said before drinking and the other agreed.
Hyunjin just sigh and drink too.
It's already two hours since we started drinking and they all look wasted. Jisung and Minho hyung doing a dirty dance, I don't want to talk about it anymore.
I was busy with my phone when I feel someone wrap his arm in my shoulder.
I titled my head to look who is it. It's Hyunjin.
"Seungmin." He's already tipsy.
"What?"
"Can't we just go back together?"
"Hyunjin, I already have a boyfriend."
"Can't we just try it again?"
"I love my boyfriend, we're together for 3 yeats already and I don't want to hurt him so know. I love him so much."
"Huh, I'm such stupid that I let you slip at my grip."
"You know what, I learned a lot of things in those 6 years. I learned how to forgive and forget, I learned that not all perfect relationship will end up together, I learned that you need to let other go for you to find a more deserving people and I'm thankful for you because you let me slip away because if not, I'm not going to met my boyfriend. You need to let go so the person that want to come go your life can enter."
"Huh, I thought you're a photographer but why does it look like you're more like a preacher." I chuckled because of what he said.
"Well, I'm just saying what I learned."
After how many minutes, they all gathered at our table again.
We're happy talking when someone pour his/her drink on me.
"Omo, I'm sorry." The guy said, trying to wipe my tee.
"It's ok, no need to--- Rowoon?" I called out, he look at me with confusion.
"Seungmin?" He said when he finally recognize me.
"What are you doing here? I thought you're going at a bar with your friend."
"Yes we're out and what do you think is this, a mall? This is a bar so we're here." He answered sassily.
"Huh, do you want me to call Taeyang?"
"Don't you dare."
"Can you call him? Say to him to come here."
"Ok." He said before turning away.
"Who's he?" Jisung asked while looking at Rowoon's back.
"Friend of my boyfriend."
"You have a boyfriend?" They all asked in unison except to Hyunjin who's drinking quietly. He already know it after all.
"Oh yes I forgot to tell you. I already have a boyfriend."
"How many months?" Felix asked.
"3 years." I answered casually.
"3 what? Years? That long?" Changbin asked.
"Yes."
After how many minute, I can see him walking to us. I smiled at him then wave my hands. He waved and smiled back.
"Jagi." He said then peck at my lips.
"Guys this is my boyfriend Chani, Kang Chani. Chani they're my friend. Changbin, Woojin, Chan, Felix, Jisung, Minho and Hyunjin."
They shake their hands.
"Where's the hyung though." Minho asked.
"Oopps, sorry hyung."
"You brat, you never changed. The typical SeungMEAN." Minho hyung commented, I just chuckled.
"Chani, are you sure that you will be with him for the rest of your life? Your life will be like hell if you did." Felix said while pointing at Seungmin. Chani look at Seungmin before answering.
"He means a lot to me so I will not let him slip at my grip. I will tie him to me so he's not going anywhere. He's all I have since my parents died so yeah. I'm willing to be in hell just to be with him." Chani answered while looking at Seungmin lovingly.
"Whipped." They all commented then laugh.
They spend the rest of their night together, happily.
