"You were right, Veron. They were here for that power." I said as soon as I entered the alpha's office where Verona with her wife Lexana was sitting comfortably on the couch while Alpha Leslie was being thrown out by her wife through the window. Seriously, it never gets old.
"Hmm, good thing it's not sealed here anymore." Verona didn't mind what just happened in front of them instead she just drank the tea that her wife prepared.
"Do you think they would know?" I wondered since I am not sure if they could sense it.
"Not unless they thought it already fled somewhere." Lexana answered while she took the liberty to read some papers over the desk.
"Hope they won't. I want my alone time with my mates before I headed back on working again." I released a heavy sigh.
"Hah. Good luck with Ceres weird tasks." Verona chuckled.
