As Lexana left the room, my heart was beating too loud for my liking and I am not sure if it was because of her or something else. All I know is that I'm not used to it. It's beating was too hard which made it hard to breath and it made me toss and turn on the bed as I tried to endure its aching.

I groaned from hearing the sudden private mind-link from the Luna of the Moonlight Blood pack, Ceres. I don't want to hear from her but she's really good at bothering someone, so better to answer it before she ruins everything in my head.
"Can I help you, Ceres?" I just rolled my eyes as I heard her irritating slash teasing voice behind my mind. I still tried to be neutral and not minding the pain over my chest - well, to be precise it's my scar.
