As we both headed down stairs, I planned on jumping from Lyric's back but something halted me to do so. I froze to my ground for a second since I smelled something yummy. I missed that kind of baking. I ran down with my vampire speed to reach the kitchen and not to my surprise Mom was there. I bet she did the baking since she was already washing the dishes with Mommy. I turned to the island table since my sister was there eating quietly while Verona was holding her left hand. Allison definitely could control herself since her mate was sitting next to her.
