"Still know nothing about the real Achilles Blood." I mumbled to myself as they made their first moved crossing the lake. One by one they were shifting into their night creatures form and dashed toward me.
"Belle, your turn." I mind linked my beloved wife which I opened to everyone in the pack. I know they were shocked hearing my voice in the pack link through my wife but well, she's my mate and this was a fight that these rogues were asking for.
As they were about to reach me, Avery and a very black wolf suddenly jumped in front of me and instantly killed the two wolf rogues. Avery grabbed their necks while the black wolf next to her bit it without hesitation. They were a duo which also made me notice that they were mates since the black wolf snuggled her body protectively at Avery.
"You okay, master?" Avery asked without looking at which made me smile proudly at her while nodding though I knew she couldn't see that.
