Morning
7:40 am
I finally got to stretch my stiff body from reading and reviewing tons of lectures from our two subjects for the first day of examinations. Good thing, Ceres wasn't here to bother or irritate my nostril out of her scent which made me entirely focused on studying. But at the same time of not feeling her around my room made me a little uneasy. Oh well, I think time for me to run for a while then be back for breakfast and not just energy biscuits with coffee.
"Ready for a run, Lena?" I asked my wolf side through my mind which made her jump excitedly.
'Finally! Let's go!'
I just laughed at her excitement and then changed my clothes to my workout outfit like, black leggings, black racer back shirt then black running sneakers. I looked totally bad-ass in black clothing since my face really looked serious all the time. Well, enough of the face instead I went off from my window near the bed then jumped out there. I don't usually use stairs just to get access to the open field and run instead I used windows that totally fit my size or through my balcony. As I landed smoothly on the ground, I kept running by foot and did some acrobatic stunt which made me feel happy. I enjoy running in the field and into the woods like a wild animal since the fresh air around really one of a kind - relaxing. I took a deep breath before running back to the pack house and into my room to get cleaned up before heading to the kitchen since I'm starving already.
"Morning, Belle." Ceres greeted me as she handed my breakfast which I can tell was totally heavy. Full of meats like bacon, grilled steak, and hotdogs with garlic fried rice. Also she didn't forget my favorite chocolate mint juice.
"You really want me to get fat." I faked a whine at her which she just laughed and kissed my lips. I love it.
"Nope. It's just a heavy meal for you plus, I already put granola bars on your bag for your break time." Ceres told me which made me smile as I guessed that she didn't prepare any lunch meals for me today.
I kept munching my breakfast while reading some notes before Ceres caught my attention when she kissed my forehead once again.
"I'll get going first. Be sure to get on time for your examinations today." Ceres reminded me which made me nod and gave me another kiss on the forehead before to my lips then left.
8:15 am
As I glanced at the wall clock, I put my dish on the sink before heading up stairs and prepared everything I would need for my examinations. After everything was set, I went downstairs and immediately drove my motorbike since I still want to review more but at the school ground this time, so I won't be late taking them. At the school grounds, there were few students loitering around since not all of the students were taking the same subjects for their examinations. Some were already taking them, some were having a break or some just finished them already. But for those who have the first examination at nine, meaning the examination would end up only around lunch time till one. Speaking off, the bell rang ten minutes before nine o'clock which made every student still have their exam, went inside their respective rooms and be ready to start the exam. Some of us in our class we're still reviewing while some were just hanging out like they don't want their brain to stress out even more. I shook my head since my head needed to relax as well but there was something bothering me as I got in the school, like somebody or someone was watching me. I was in my thoughts when our classroom opened and I am not so surprised to see my mate entered the room while holding some papers.
'Surprised?'
"Not at all. I already figured it out." I said while smiling through our link then the bell rang which she immediately started to give everyone the papers.
"Begin." Ceres stated which made everyone start on answering every question on the paper.
Everything went smoothly throughout the examination for the first day and two more days to go before we could definitely breath from it. Speaking of, when the last bell rang, everyone was excited to get out from the school ground and have fun but for me, I went to Ceres's table after they all left. Only Avery, Ceres and I only left in the classroom.
"Mine, tell me, did you feel someone was watching as I reached the school ground?" I asked her which made Avery patted my back and left. Ceres gave her a look like she wanted to talk to me privately.
"Some stinky fellow, indeed, so better go home straight and wait for me." Ceres answered me indirectly but I knew them already. I was right because her eyes told me.
'Be careful, Belle. Whoever it was, it wanted to play with you.'
"Thanks, mine." I replied through our link which made her smile before nodding then I left the classroom.
As I got out of the room, Avery was standing by the locker and waiting for me. She gave me a careful smile like she knew that someone was indeed following me since I stepped foot on the school ground. I sighed which made her chuckle as she wrapped her arms around mine then we both headed out to the parking lot. I hopped on my bike as well Avery after she put the helmet that I let her borrow since we both got to school together earlier.
"You know Friz, this vampire has a playful aura around it. I'm not so sure if it's a man or a woman. Just be sure never to be alone." Avery whispered to me as she wrapped her arms around my waist which made me nodded then drove my Dark back to the pack house.
1:10 pm
We got back safely to the house and Avery went to the kitchen to drink some blood that was stored for the only vampires in the house. As for me, I went to park my Dark at the garage and then went upstairs since I'm totally exhausted. I wanted to sleep. But before sleep took over me, I went to my closet to get my training suit which was almost the same style that I wore this morning.
"Lena, up for another run?" I asked my wolf who totally agreed with me since both of us love to run which is why we are the fastest within the pack.
'But let's do some combat training too.'
"That will do." I agreed to Lena before we did some stretching before we went off.
"Guys, I'll take some runs out in the open field." I pack linked everyone just for them to know where I am in case they want to look for me.
I jumped out from my balcony this time then headed off to the open field to train combat and just run around. Lena and I were just doing some martial arts stunts or even acrobatic moves as each time took some run. No one could tell when a surprise attack could happen.
As I kept running around, something was getting off somewhere within the woods which my curiosity kicked in. I went there but only to the surface, I noticed that the woods here were totally quiet like there was no noise coming from the birds or even insects around here. There was a total silence. I turned my heel to run back to the field with my guard up just in case something came up and it did. Out of nowhere, a porcelain creature with blood shot eyes surprised me by popping in front of me. This creature was a girl and she has these predator eyes which made me sighed mentally since I felt like I was her prey. I maneuvered and tried to get away from her or just to ignore her but she was persistent. She kept popping in front of me like she was playing with her food but nope! Not me.
"Seriously, for a vampire rogue you're so persistent." I groaned which made her smirked like she loved my reactions.
"For a wolf to be here, really tasty." the girl said with her intoxicating voice like what a vampire would have to lure their prey but seriously, I am not affected instead I was getting pissed off.
"Oh believe when I say you don't like it when I am mad." I groaned once again as I tried to run again and she was following me - well technically, running beside me.
"Shall we try it then?" She smirked sinisterly while my blood began to run in such overdrive and made me shiver not in the good way. I am pissed.
"Don't you say I didn't warn you." I growled this time which made her laugh and began to attack me while we're running aimlessly into the field.
Seriously, she was fast like any vampire could but I am faster than this girl. I just don't want to show off since she was a rogue. But like what Ceres taught me during our combat training within the woods, never let your guard down or even show what you're planning. Poker face. Deadfish eyes. Cold façade. Just be emotionless or nothing. She tried to claw my face which I didn't let happen aside from I love my face, I'd rather have scratch from Ceres claws and not from some random vampire invading the pack's territory. I kept dodging which I've got the feeling it started to irritate her. I kinda like that but again, never let your guard down even just for a second. I kept dodging and blocking her attack as we both didn't care that we're at the open field of our pack. Seriously, this vampire was to focus on hitting me or making me bleed. She doesn't even care that some wolves were already alarmed by her presence.
"Have you even realized that you're already in our pack?" I asked while dodging and defending myself while some of the patrollers around came.
"Who cares about it anyway, no one can defeat me. Not even the whole pack of yours." She just laughed at me while keeping on attacking me without any significant form like she was just attacking me randomly. I just hope she got tired from doing that.
"Why did you think of it that way?" I asked with a calm voice yet there's some pissed tone underneath it.
"Because I came from a very strong line of vampires from the ancient coven of Elder Monte Cruz which only meant that I could kill the entire packs or clans with one snap of a finger." She answered proudly which made something in me twitch like the knotted of irritation began to tighten in anger. I just don't like what I just heard from the filthy mouth of her - Monte Cruz.
"Then why didn't you use it on me while we're in the woods alone?" I asked with curiosity though I can feel some of my anger was about to surface as well.
"Where's the fun in that?" She laughed which seriously snapped something in me.
"What's your name then?" I asked as I tried to contain it but I've got the feeling it won't be too long. I need her here.
"Autumn from the coven of Monte Cruz." She answered which seriously something in me snapped and not because she mentioned her name but she used the name of Monte Cruz.
I stopped from moving which only meant that I was totally pissed off. All of the sudden, I growled loudly at this pathetic vampire which on cue, made her stop from attacking me then she immediately jumped away to distance herself from me. She was staring as she studied me. I can tell everyone in the pack jolted as they heard me growled loud since I never did it before. They were just standing like this match was a kill or be killed game.
"Well, well, soon to be alpha. Very nice opponent. Shall we dance then?" Autumn teased which only fueled some anger boiling inside of me. Then she attacked me.
I was still on my ground as those anger that swirling in me began to surface and immediately shifted into my half form. By that time, I caught her fist before mine. Autumn was shocked and frightened all of the sudden since this shift that I had right now was my deadly form, my great fallen rogue state.
"Do you think using the Monte Cruz name will put you in grace but guest what, no. You're not even have the same qualification of being an Elder or to be in one of their coven. Not to mention, being a mate of one." I bluntly told her which made her quiver even more in fear because of the voice I never thought I possessed.
It sounded like a husky or rough masculine-lady voice which made it easy to compare into a bedroom voice or a hoarse voice. Not sure though but it was close to that sound.
"W-who are you exactly?! No, wolves possessed the power of an Elder vampire! Who are you?!" Autumn shouted in fear at me which I seriously never heard that I am possessing the power of an elder vampire.
"Not for you to know." I answered mysteriously since I don't want any other vampire to know my mate possessed such power.
Autumn's eyes were covered in fear but still trying to fight my intimidating aura. I wanted to laugh which I could tell that Lena was smirking behind my head until an irritating scent came into the open field.
"What a pleasant surprise, Autumn. How did you manage to escape from the vampire's asylum?" Ceres asked as she approached us which made her fear tripled. I never knew that vampires had an asylum.
"You know her, my beloved Ceres?" I asked Ceres which she only nodded at.
"Beloved? You're mated to an abomination!" Autumn screamed that almost sounded like she was laughing and I don't like it one bit.
It angered me even more and this I'm not even in control anymore. Lena and I might be one but having the fallen side in my system now, it was like three merged into one though I'm still in my half form.
"You shouldn't say that Autumn, she's in her fallen rogue. Now she'll kill you." Ceres said with her mocking voice which made Autumn run away from us. But not a chance.
I wanted to play with her by running after her but I can't change the fact she didn't believe what I said and her using the Monte Cruz name - really made me mad.
"Elder Blanche Monte Cruz, is my beloved mate." I growled to her ear as I got closer to her which made her eyes widen in disbelief to what I just said.
Autumn turned to meet my eyes and she was shocked at the same time even more frightened at me now.
"Your eyes...I'm sorry..." She whispered weakly but I'm totally mad which led me on biting her neck roughly and ripped her flesh from it.
I don't care if blood began to ruin my face, right now, I just wanted to kill her and made her blood flow into my hands. She's my first blood that I kill without any hesitation. I am pissed off. As Autumn's body faded into ash, Ceres called my name but I didn't listen. She even tried to hold me but I just looked at her.
"Belle, my queen...calm down now...she's gone…" Ceres tried to calm me down but no. I can't. I was still mad at what Autumn said.
"She tried to use Monte Cruz. She tried to use the power of that name...I won't forgive whoever uses my mates' name." I growled deeply which made her smile at me and from there, I saw a glimpse of Iolana Blanche in Ceres moonlight eyes.
"Oh Belle, remember you still have exams. Better to get going and study." Ceres reminded me which made me growled at her irritated but she just smiled at me as I could feel Iolana did the same.
'I love you Frizabelle, my beloved queen.'
When I heard that whisper from Iolana, I suddenly shifted back like nothing happened aside from the blood stain on my face and my hands.
"Fine but first, I have to take these off. It's stinky!" I whined which made Ceres laugh then kissed my forehead before I ran back to my room and took a long relaxing bath.

Good thing I was done arranging those examination papers when I felt some irritation which I knew who it came from made me feel a little uneasy. I've got the feeling that she was already facing whoever that vampire was who had an eye on her. I went home immediately and not to my surprise when I heard her growl which was a very powerful one and it made everyone in the pack jolted and didn't interfere. I wanted to see what was happening and I was proud of my mate. I might know who was the vampire she was talking to right now but there was something also off about Frizabelle.
She mad over something since she didn't hesitate or play with her prey instead, she killed it instantly. It was totally hot but when I called her she was just standing there and not responding. She was like in another dimension but I knew she could feel and hear me. She knew I was here, holding her as I tried to calm her down but nothing happened. That's when she mentioned Monte Cruz. She was mad over that vampire for using the name of Monte Cruz which seriously made my heart warm. I smiled at her which I didn't know who she saw inside my eyes because she looked very in love with me. I don't complain though.
'I love you Frizabelle, my beloved queen.'
I was beyond surprised when I heard those words from a very familiar voice that I really love from distant memories in my heart and soul. Iolana Blanch Monte Cruz spoke directly to my dear soulmate, Frizabelle Marshall.
"Oh, Lana...you finally showed up to her…" I said mentally that I've got the feeling Iolana heard them very clearly since she's been living inside of me since the night she died in my arms. I might not hear for a very long time but I knew she's always within me like an eternal love.
