Sunday – Night
I didn't shift back to my human form when we hugged each other. I tried to check up on her and she was in her thoughts once again. She was thinking deeply while staring lovingly at me which I found amusing and embarrassing at the same time. But the more she looked at me like that, something in me began to stir up and make Lena whimpered again behind my mind.
'Friz, let's go...I don't like staying here for some reason.'
"Okay, let's go home and snap our mate from her deep thought." I groaned slightly which made my wolf giggle with that thought.
'Bragged inside her thoughts. You can do it.'
"As if. I might hear them but it's very blurry." I honestly replied to my wolf tease since I rarely hear her whispering thoughts which I couldn't understand at all.
'Well, it could be really loud when we mated.'
"Oh shit...mating...Lena, are you in heat?" I asked as I realized it might be the reason why she's been a little off since this morning.
'I don't know but we need to go back inside.'
"Okay." I agreed which made me look at Ceres this time which was still daydreaming about something. I must snap at this mate of ours.
"Ceres, let's go home…" I said that almost sounded like a whimper because of Lena.
At first she was just standing there and looking deeply like she was thinking something which made me glare at her. As she noticed my glare, her eyes went wide as she realized why I was glaring at her which she immediately took me into her arms like her bride. Then we dashed off back to the house, meaning she didn't go in the garden's sliding glass door instead, she jumped up to my room's balcony. Then entered my room before she almost tossed me on my bed which I almost squealed out of surprise. I was panting when she did that since it seriously took me off guard. When I was finally able to control my panting, I noticed Ceres was walking back and forth by the end of the bed. She looked frustrated and panicked which I found cute and I giggled.
"What's so funny?" Ceres asked as she heard me giggled on the bed.
"Well, you're kinda cute panicking like that." I told her which was true and she just glared at me that I just laughed my ass off. What can I do, when I seriously find her cute acting like that.
I know and I understand why she was acting like that since she didn't know what or how to deal with Lena's heat radiating off me without jumping on me here and there. Just watching her walking in a circle while mumbling on how to deal with my heat thing. I just smiled at how she showed her care for me.
"Ceres." I called her with my sweet voice that I never knew I had.
"What?" she asked me as she stopped from walking then looked at me with a careful gaze.
I just patted the vacant part of my bed next to me. She sighed then sat with me. I chuckled and she just ran her hand onto her hair upward as she released a big sigh from her mouth before meeting my gaze.
"You know that you're in heat, right?" Ceres asked with such worry written onto her face that made me smile then touched her cheek.
"Lena is." I answered as her hand caressed my hand that was cupping her cheek.
"And you're not affected by her heat?" She asked as she put our hands down together while looking worried to me.
"A little but I can endure." I slightly giggled which she just sighed before slouching on the headboard of the bed.
"Alright, just don't jump on me when you can't take it since I don't know how long I could keep my hands off from you." She told me which I knew she's already at the edge and a little more push she'll do that. Seriously, I admire how strong her control was which made me want to do the same.
"Can't promise so you better chain me up and lock yourself somewhere in my room." I teased her which made her poked me a little to my side.
"Funny, I can't do that since there might be somebody who will try to steal what's mine." She chuckled but her eyes were totally full of anger if it did happen.
"Oh Ceres, no one who's gonna take me away from you. The moon already guaranteed that." I giggled as I recalled what the moon goddess told me before I shifted into a fallen rogue form.
"Very well then." Ceres nodded when I mentioned the moon goddess. It was like she couldn't argue back when the moon goddess was involved which I found it a little intriguing on how close they were.
"Belle, you can say that we're close because she's the one who also help me get through my change as a fallen rogue. I know Rean did all of them but with the moon, do you think I could turn it off at will?" Ceres suddenly told me which I concluded that she heard my thoughts about her closeness to the moon goddess itself.
"You're right about that and Ceres, the moon told me something before I shifted. She told me that 'I shall bless thy mate bond with undying love of immortality. Truthful as bright as the sun, honesty as serene as the moonlight, love as spark as the Polaris. All shall be done as the chosen wheel of change mated with love.' does that ring a bell to you?" I asked as I recalled what the moon goddess told me which made Ceres think deeply.
I watched her carefully before I let my half shift wolfy head lean on her shoulder. I think it will take her some time within her own thoughts. But I heard her giggled as I felt her arms wrapped protectively at me.
"It does ring a bell to me. She also mentioned it to me though not exactly the same but has the same point that I will mate lovingly to my soulmate which is you. But not tonight. Tonight, we must endure it till the time for us to make love." Ceres calmly told me which made me look deeply into her moonlight eyes and smiled at her.
"Stay with me then." I just said with such a calming voice which made her pull me closer to her and kissed my forehead.
"For you I will, always." She sighed with her usual smile which out of the blue I chuckled as she did the same.
This night was something lovely even though there was some bothering heat still radiating around me. It was forgotten for a moment till I shivered which made Ceres lowly growl at me before holding me tightly. I can't tell that it was driving her insane from the inside which made me patted her arms that were wrapped around me.
"Ceres, let go. I will soak myself in the tub." I said with a little whimper at the end of my tone because Lena was in heat.
Ceres just nodded but when I was about to get up from my bed, I suddenly felt a little dizzy which made the heat even more hot. I am steaming and sweating a lot. Ceres was glaring while growling and she's gritting her teeth just to control herself through her eyes were indeed full of hunger and lust. I don't if I am looking at her the same since her eyes began to glow in such deep shade of red-yellow like a flaming sun.
"Ceres, please don't look at me like that. I might not be able to control myself as well." I whined as I felt the heat that was coming from Lena was passing through me which made me feel horny.
"Sorry. Just go in the tub. I'll go down stairs to get some blocks of ice for you." Ceres said with her gritted teeth and I can see her fangs were extracting slowly out from her gums.
"Thank you. Having these kinds of raging hormones wasn't the best unless for a married couple." I whined as I finally got myself off from the bed while Ceres stayed glued there. She held her ground since if she did move, I might have ended up on the wall while kissing her.
"Soon, we'll be but not tonight. Endure is a must but my lovely queen…" Ceres stated while I can feel her eyes still fixed on me which I can also tell that it was still full of lust which made me hot even more.
"Yes?" I turned as I leaned my hands on the couch for the support since I have to go to the bathroom.
"Always remember how much I love you." Ceres said as she was now standing in front of me and cupping my face with both of her hands.
"Always." I smiled as I let myself feel those hands on my face. Then the next thing I knew Ceres kissed me so deeply and lingering before she vanished.
I sighed but the smile on my face never left me then I went to the bathroom since I had to soak myself in the tub. I'll just wait for her to get those blocks of ice to help me cool down a little bit from this heat. Inside my bathroom, I let the cold water pour in the tub while I took off my clothes except from my undergarments. I soaked myself while I waited for Ceres with those blocks of ice which I never realized that she was already there panting.
"Here, p-put in it…" Ceres stuttered which she never did before which made me study her and she was turning into her fallen side.
"Sorry for this one, Ceres." I said with a worried tone since I don't want to see her like this but at the same time I was glad that she also has this side. I'm thankful to see that.
"N-no. D-don't be. I'll j-just o-on y-your room...p-play something...I..d-don't know…" She stuttered again which I just smiled then she nodded before heading off to my room to do whatever she thought of doing.
As she left me alone in the bathroom, I took all the blocks of ice and put them in the tub. Seriously, when I got in and started relaxing myself, I was already steaming. I just let the cold water keep pouring and let the blocks of ice melt on its own. I can't feel the heat anymore but it was still there which made me ask Lena.
"Lena, feel a little bit better?" I asked my wolf side which she giggled for some reason.
'Yes, it was helping but I am not sure if we got out though.'
"Just don't think of it and relax. We might sleep here till everything cools down." I told her which she agreed on then she cut the link with a snore.
I chuckled on how a wolf snored which made me realize that she's really tired over this one. I am feeling them too, tiredness which made me think of Ceres.
"Mine, can you play some lullaby...I'm gonna sleep here." I privately linked Ceres which I heard her chuckled.
'Sure do, my queen. What kind of lullaby do you want to hear?'
"Something you would sing for me to sleep." I honestly told her before I yawned in the tub.
'Very well then, my queen. Sleep and relax well. I play something for you.'
I was dozing off when I heard a familiar melody which I knew came from a theatrical play entitled Love Never Dies and the song called Look with Your Heart by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Simon Lee.
Love's a curious thing

I smiled hearing those lines from the song because it was what love did to me. I might have tried to run away or pushed away but it never left me instead, it pursued me.

I know that Ceres wasn't the perfect mate because she's a vampire and a certified fallen rogue but she definitely made me feel what love can do. She taught me to feel them which I feared and regret since I hurt her in the process.

But regretting it was something I have to learn most of the time in the hard way. Letting my feelings be out and be heard by her, was the great thing I ever did. Everything became so clear with the love I am taking because I'm sharing it with her.
"Oh Celestial Ceres...my irritating mate...how much I crave to love you more than I ever knew." I mumbled before my eyes finally gave up and let me drifted into a nice but cold sleep.
Ceres
I was almost done playing and singing a song that Frizabelle might like when I heard her whisper.
'Oh Celestial Ceres...my irritating mate...how much I crave to love you more than I ever knew.'
I smiled since she's always irritated at me but I really do know how much she loves me on the way she acted around me. Well, technically it was a very rare occasion to see them but the way she looked at me, always with care, love and longing. I always feel that, even if we just snuggle or talk randomly or even play some music, I feel them. Her love only for me.
"I know you're asleep there...it's time for me to make a move; a kind of a move that will mark your life." I whispered to myself as I finished playing the song for my mate in the bathroom.
