Frizabelle
Wednesday – Night
As all mothers with their kids and old wolves stayed hidden underground cellars, we, the ones who left inside the second floor of the pack house, stayed guarded while we watched on how Vincent would face those vampires that he just left behind. Speaking of, a couple of vampires began to step around the house perimeter and show themselves one by one. Those vampires weren't not all just vampires since some of them possessed such foul scent like rotten flesh. They surrounded the entire open field which made me carefully watch and kept myself alerted since no one could tell how this bloodshed would turn out.
Around 8pm
Vincent stood his ground all by himself as those vampires hissed madly at him until some of them took a step and spoke.
"You, traitor from your creators' clan." One hissing voice from the man and a fallen rogue said to Vincent.
But Vincent was well composed and still quiet like he was studying his opponents. In my count, his opponents weren't just one or two but they were 30-50 fallen rouges and 10-20 vampires. Maybe those vampires were mixed – I mean, some were pure blooded or just turned and I really don't care if they were. All matters to me now, how this thing ends; will it be good or should I expect the worst outcome from this bloodbath they said. Vampire terms weren't my thing but since my mate was a pure blooded vampire, I think I must keep up with her knowledge.
'That will help, Belle.'
"I told you don't do that." I blushed as I complained to my mate's comment through our link. She read my thoughts again.
She just chuckled through our link like nothing happened around the field and speaking Ceres, she was nowhere in sight.
"Where are you?" I asked through our link.
'Somewhere…don't worry, I'm watching everything from where I am. My queen please be on guard.'
Her chuckle turned serious as she answered me which I really do feel that she worried over my well-being and I love how it sounded to my ears. After that little conversation with Ceres, I was caught up with a strange bang that came from the field. I went closer to the window and took a peek, there I saw 5 fallen rouges on their knees and bleeding? How did he do it like that?
Vincent kept his cool as those fallen rogues attacked him with their intelligence and aggressiveness. On the other hand, Vincent just dodged, countered and killed them like they were nothing to him. Vincent moved flawless like he was in slow motion but not. He just knew where the blows would come from and I was in awe seeing him moved like that. He's cool but I like Ceres much better which I could hear her giggles behind my thoughts that made me shake my head. I smiled from that cute giggled of hers and I love it.
Anyway, as blood were being spilled around the field and Vincent was still in his cold facade like he was bored over this bloodshed until someone came up to him. He suddenly stiffened as the matured vampire caught his neck and slammed him to the ground like a piece of paper. Vincent struggled because he was pinned down and couldn't break free from it. I wanted to help him but he suddenly stop moving like he gave up or did he just die?
"He's not dead is he?" I thought as I tried to listen to his heart but nothing. It wasn't beating. He was dead.
Or so I thought. I saw Vincent's right hand quickly move like a flash of light and stabbed it through the chest of the vampire in front of him. As his hand went through inside the chest, he began to pull out the heart and crushed it like crumpled paper. Blood was gushing out to Vincent which made him covered with it. As the vampire turned ash, Vicent stood up and wiped the blood covering his face. Fallen rouges suddenly became uncertain whether to fight or chicken out but before they could run out, a very beautiful lady came out onto the surface. But her vampire speed was impossible for my eyes to see where she was heading until I gasped in pain. I felt something stabbed my stomach. I looked in Vincent's direction and Ceres was standing there with the lady. I don't like it since the lady's hand was stabbed on Ceres stomach.
"Well, well, I thought you showed up my lovely Ceres." The devilish voice of the vampire lady said to my mate.
"How's life, my princess?" Ceres asked the girl with such calmness.
"It's fine but lonely like you said to me. Vampire was a lonely creature of the night than wolves but changed when a soulmate was found." The lady said normally as she pulled out her hand from Ceres' stomach.
"Have you found your mate, my princess?" Ceres asked as she smiled like this lady that she was talking to didn't hurt her at all. From that, it pissed me off like hell.
"Nope, but something in my guts telling me to be here that's why I followed them in the shadows. Then I suddenly smelled something delicious and I couldn't resist where it came from. But first, I must confirm you're here." The lady explained honestly to Ceres.
"What will you do, now you confirmed I'm here?" Ceres asked calmly. How does she do that? Being calm I mean.
"Nothing, I just need to find this sweet blood around here somewhere." The lady said while sniffing around the air like a wolf would do which Ceres moved aside then linked me.
'Tell your Dad, it's a wolf thing now.'
I did what Ceres told me which my father immediately linked to the other since I saw them shifted in mid-air and ran around the field to cover the dead scent of those vampires around the field. The wolves in our pack could cover tons of scents around our territory since our pack were blessed by the moon goddess - well, my mother said that to me when I was little.
Anyway, as they were clearing out in the field, Vincent came into the pack house with Ceres and that lady. We all came downstairs and met them but seeing that vampire lady stood closely to Ceres, my anger was getting the best out of me. I was about to attack that lady when I smelled something familiar and it was coming from the kitchen. I ran to the kitchen and I was surprised to see my best friend slash my elder sister in flesh.
"Franz!" I shouted then jumped onto her that made her sound 'oof' as she caught me into her arms.
"I see, you missed me much, Friz." Her lovely voice said to me then let go as she felt some glaring eyes fixed on her.
My sister was a bit of a split image of me and my mom apart from her eyes like my father's like a serious and fearsome person she could be but she wasn't. She was loving and caring like Mom, that's why I was spoiled by her. I loved her very much. But I loved Ceres more.
"Oh! Meet my mate, Ceres." I introduced my sister to Ceres not minding the others looking at her in awe.
"Nice meeting you. I'm Francesca, your mate's sister and I heard a lot of things from Mom." Franz introduced herself to Ceres.
Ceres smiled and nodded at her but she suddenly took my arms to pull me away from hugging my sister then she snaked her arms around my waist possessively. I blushed at her gesture but I don't think it was her being jealous but something else. That's when I heard a very deep growl coming from Vincent but the more my sister looked at him, I can tell that she was looking behind Vincent's.
"Come here, she was just my sister. Come here mine." My sister, Francesca said while smiling big on her face since she finally found her mate.
Vincent was shocked but as he was supposed to come to my sister, a very quick gush of wind suddenly passed through us and engulfed my sister into such a tight hug. They never realized that they had already fallen on the floor. The lady from earlier was the one who was snuggling herself to my sister's neck.
"So it was you, that intoxicating sweet vanilla blood that I can't help to taste." The lady said as she nuzzled into my sister while they were both lying on the floor and forgetting we're all seeing what they're doing.
"And you're the alluring and relaxing chamomile peppermint scent that made my wolf howled excitedly." Francesca laughed at her mate's gesturing around her – I mean, the cuddling stuff and it pissed me off. I missed my sister too, which made me pouted.
"My princess, kindly stand up from Franz, my mate wanted to kick you from cuddling too much." Ceres chuckled and they both stood up from the floor.
"Don't call me princess, you're more qualified than I am, Celes." The lady said with her smirking face that made something in me twitch which Ceres laughed at that but not to me. I groaned.
"I'm Princess Rean Aspire and I came here to meet my cousin but I didn't expect that I would also find my soulmate here. Oh dear, I'll be dead when they learn about it." Rean said with such happiness but turned into sour as she recalled she's a pure blooded vampire and my sister was a wolf.
"I'll take care of that. I'm a worse abomination than you." Ceres frankly said but still calm as she caressed Rean's shoulder which calmed her a bit.
"I wish, they'll listen. You know pure blooded was more stubborn one than wolves." Rean sighed then hugged my sister to calm her much more.
"Don't worry; my queen was the most stubborn one for killing me almost twice." Ceres chuckled when she said that she immediately received a smack on her left arm.
"Hey! I just don't like your bloody chocolate scent." I immediately defended and pouted at her, which made them laugh all together.
Dang it! Since when did I turn to be a joker within this pack?!
"Well, your reaction was fascinating to watch." Ceres whispered to my ears that made me blushed but then Ceres suddenly turned into her silent mode.
She was in deep thought, again. I wish someday I could tell what was bothering her so I could help her too. Ceres turned to face me again and kissed my forehead lovingly which made me sigh heavily in defeat.
Ceres
As the score for Vincent had already been settled underneath the moonless night, another problem must be dealt with. My old folks. My old self that seems like the time has come to meet them again.
"There's no turning back this time. I have the reason to live and be alive once again." I told myself since it was the truth.
Speaking of the truth, I have to explain a lot of things to my mate and to her family since they were my home now, she's my home which I don't want to lose no matter what. But having a complicated family background, I just hope they would still see me and not because of that background that hid behind my past.
Dammit just thinking of it making me lose sight of what was in front of me. I have my mate now and she's my queen that I have and need to take care off. I have to stand up in front of them again and not expect too much in return from that old man. All I ever wanted was acknowledgement from them but now I found my mate, I don't care about it anymore.
Frizabelle was ever I wanted to have in my life. She completed the me in my broken soul.
