A few people gathered in front of the house when they heard the noise and almost mistook them as robbers. One of the women was about to call the police but Sid showed his I'd to them and explained the reason. Jake introduced him as an undercover agent as well. That was not a lie either.
After talking to them they got to know that the family had already left the place the next day of the robbery and so the place was empty and they had no idea where they had gone.
"What about the furniture?" Jake asked " Did they drag everything out that day? "
"No, I guess they did not have much furniture, just a sofa. They used the floor for everything." One of the neighbors said.
"What about the owner? Does he live here? " Sid asked.
"Yes, ground floor. " They responded.
