Julian spoke with a threatening tone and the old man laughed.
" I haven't introduced myself yet have i? I apologize. My name is Chad Firebeard and I am the city lord of Luohe. "
' That's an interesting name '
Julian chuckled to himself before speaking.
" I am indeed the one who sold the rank 3 cores and my name is Julian Sanchez. You are the one who sold the rank 4 core right? "
Chad nodded and spoke
" Indeed i am. Currently I am the City of Luohe and the entire kingdom of Koryak is in grave danger. So I need to raise the funds necessary to strengthen our defenses. Which brings me back to you and your rank 3 cores. "
Chad took a moment to think before continuing.
" If possible I would like to form a business contract with you. If you bring me your rank 3 cores instead of having them auctioned I will give you a set price for every core you bring me. "
Julian thought about it and spoke.
" What kind of prices are we talking. "
Chad pulled out a Red jade emblem of a beard made of fire and spoke.
" Not only will I purchase your cores for 125 HQ each I will give you this emblem. With it you can Avoid all taxes and regulations within the city and you can even get a 30% discount at any store owned by my clan. We have numerous alchemy shops as well as array, blacksmithing and rune shops."
After he finished speaking he looked at Julian awaiting his reply.
Julian carefully thought It over and it sounded good. The value of his cores wouldn't always be over 125 especially if he introduced a lot into the market quickly. Some of his cores were worth 300 in the auction while others barely worth 60. Then he had the 30% off on everything which was actually an amazing offer.
" I accept your offer. I actually have some cores on me now I'd like to sell to you. "
" Haha Wonderful! Let's see them. "
Julian brought out 20 Cores and showed them to the shocked Chad.
" I'll start off by selling these to you "
They made the exchange and Julian earned 2,500 HQ along with the badge.
" Are you in need of rank 1 and 2 cores as well? "
Julian asked this and Chads eyebrows raised.
" Are you interested in selling them to me as well? "
" Depends on the price. "
Chad thought for a moment and although rank 1 and 2 beast cores were easier to get they currently needed an extravagant amount so their storages had run dry.
" how about 3 HQ per rank 1 core and 25 for rank 2 cores? "
This was a good deal. Rank 1 cores were usually 2 HQ and rank 2 were 20 HQ but he was getting more than that per core.
" Its a deal. Once we get to your place I will bring out the rank 1 and 2 cores I'm willing to sell. "
Quite literally as he spoke several cores were constantly flowing into his inventory.

Julian felt a wave of power flow into his body and it shook the carriage. Chad looked up at him in dismay.

Julian didn't know what to say at the moment. What he just did was an incredible feat. He literally sat down and broke through mid conversation. Such a thing was almost unheard of.
" Nothing happened, carry on. "
Julian spoke and although Chad had many questions he chose to respect his new trade partner and stay quiet.
In an attempt to break the award silence Julian pulled out The royal Insignia and asked Chad a question.
" Are there any places in luohe city that I can get into using this? "
Looking at the Insignia he was shocked further. He had received a report about a Royal guard arriving in the city but the royal guard disappeared out of nowhere once he made it inside.
" Are you the Royal guard that arrived this morning? "
Julian corrected him and spoke up.
Although I posses a set of royal guards Armor I am not a Royal guard under the Koryak kingdom. This Badge was a gift from King James for uncovering a traitorous plot against him and Koryak Kingdom.
Chad looked at the Insignia and asked if he could see it to confirm something.
' He's telling the truth. '
Unbeknownst to Julian when he first touched the Badge it formed a seal that was nearly impossible to fake. When Chad checked the seal it was still brand new and hadn't been tampered with. If it had been and Julian had stolen this badge when Chad checked it the badge would've shattered.
" I apologize for anything I may have done to offend you tonight sir Julian. "
Julian noticed the sudden change in attitude and laughed.
" Don't worry about it. Now about my previous question? "
Chad spoke quickly.
" Yes of course. This Badge will get you into the VIP sections of any store in the city. No clan can refuse this badge. Speaking of which the Starfire clan from Starfire city has an alchemy shop here in Luohe city. They have a very special back room full of grade 5 and 6 pills. Normally its Impossible to gain entry unless you are one of their big spenders or a close friend but the royal badge will give you access. "
Julian engraved the name into his mind and replied.
" How much does a grade 4 foundation Pill cost? "
" They cost about 400 or so for 10. "

Julian thought about it then asked another question.
" What about grade 5 and 6 foundation pills. "
Chad took a deep breath and spoke.
" Grade 5 pills aren't too bad, they are fairly hard to make and the ingredients are kind of rare so about 10 pills would set you back about 8k HQ. Grade 6 however are hard to find in the Koryak kingdom. The materials are even more expensive and the success rate of each batch is incredibly low. The Starfire clan has about 4 bottles with 5 pills each and they'll set you back around 90k HQ. Now if you are going to ask about grade 7 I'll have to stop you here. Grade 7 pills are nearly impossible to create and the materials are almost impossible to find. I know for a fact that there are none for sale within the Koryak kingdom. If one were to be sold it would cause a stir within the entire kingdom and could easily go for several million HQ or a couple hundred EQ! "
Julian heard this and was shocked by the sky high prices. He thought back to the Expert quality and asked about it.
" What's Expert Quality? "
Chad laughed.
" Its the currency of High Immortals. 100,000 HQ is equal to a single Expert Quality Spirit stone. The only powers i know that trade with EQ are the Grand immortal sects led by Profound Immortal stage cultivators and above. Most nations like the Koryak kingdom and Hathan will not have more than a couple EQ's at a time. "
Julian took in the information about EQ then thought about the Expert grade soul stone he had. The lich core.
" What about an Expert grade soul stone? how much is it compared to a High grade soul stone? "
" An Expert grade soul stone is worth about 10,000 HQ and generally has more than a thousand times the potency of a high Grade soul stone. "
' 1,000 times! a single high grade soul stone gave him a thousand Psychic force so the lich core should give him 1 million Psychic force. '
The two talked about more and more things until they finally arrived outside the gates of the city lord's mansion. They stepped out of the carriage and Chad walked him to the guests house used for royalty.
They sat down inside and Chad ordered his servant's to bring in food and drink.
" So how many rank 1 and 2 cores do you have for me? "
Julian Grabbed a couple boxes and filled them to the brim with rank 1 cores.
" i have 150 Rank 1 cores here. "
He then grabbed another box and filled it to the brim as well.
" Here are 50 Rank 2 beast cores. all 200 cores are in perfect condition. "
Chad calculated the price and handed the HQ Spirit stones over.
" 150 rank 1 cores for 450 HQ and 50 Rank 2 cores for 1,250 HQ "
The two Drank and ate for an hour and soon became friends. After Chad left Julian un equipped his robes and dived into the bed. Instead of sleeping he just layed down and explored his system some more.
He opened the Psychic ability menu and was met with several abilities he could purchase for Divinity tokens and Chaos Sparks.

the ability to travel great distances in an instant, distance depends on Psychic might of the caster.

Condense your Divine sense into an arrow to attack the enemies soul.
( Soul Devour (C) ) 50 Chaos Sparks
Devour A defeated enemies soul to gain Psychic force and even Chaos Sparks, Amount of Psychic force gained depends on enemies Psychic rank. Note this ability combines the targets soul directly with the casters soul which can cause instability within the casters soul causing him to go mad if his Psychic might is not strong enough to filter out these emotions and memories. ( must be 2 ranks above target to consume freely without harm. )
( Blood Sacrifice (C) ) 25 Chaos Sparks.
Sacrifice your own blood or another's in exchange for a power boost from the Chaos god of Valor, Courage and pain Razvah, Strength of blood determines the power received. ( Warning every time this power is used Razvah will influence the casters mind Amplifying their evil thoughts and creating a tighter bond with the caster eventually overtaking the casters soul if he is too weak to resist. )
He browsed the Abilities but he only had a couple Chaos sparks and Divinity tokens so he closed the tab for now. Next he opened the Genocide shop and was hit with an incredibly long list of items. The items at the top if the list were all mystic grade Spiritual weapons and many if them looked amazing buy he paused when he saw the price.

He closed the Genocide shop for now and opened the Achievements tab. He saw Tens of thousands of achievements and there were a couple that he had completed. Sadly these easy achievements didn't give him any rewards. He looked at the harder achievements and saw they they gave rewards.
Most of the achievements had to do with killing a certain race either 1 million times 10 mil all the way up to the trillions.
" Well my system lives up to its name. "
While he was thinking a sudden notification caught his full attention.

Julian was speechless! A single rank 5 beast was worth so much EXP. He looked into His inventory and pulled out The rank 5 core and could feel the piercing hot Spiritual Qi radiate from it. For any normal Nascent soul cultivator this would be a golden ticket to jump directly to the ensoulment realm but to him it was a huge block of beautiful Money.
He held out the Heart and the items information appeared.

A heart of a fire drake. If consumed user will gain skill ( Fire Manipulation ) Skills power can be enhanced by devouring higher rank fire drake hearts.
He thought of eating it but the look of the Bloody heart made him feel sick. As he was wondering what was he was going to do he suddenly got an idea. He pointed his hand at the heart and yelled.
" GO BLOOD GO! DO YOUR THING! "
At his command a tide of blood jumped out of his hand and devoured the heart in a couple of seconds.

He activated the most basic flame he could and watched as a small burst of fire appeared on his right palm. There was no pain like he was expecting. Instead it sat there as an extension of himself.

He fiddled around with the skill until morning and ended up using about 2 kilowatts of electricity. When he left the guest house in the morning he was greeted by a servant in Red attire with read hair and blue eyes.
" Good morning Sir! My lord is busy with important business so I have been instructed to guide you around the city for the day. "
Julian nodded and spoke.
" what's he doing? "
The servant replied respectfully.
" He is speaking with members of The Covenant About The Chaos Tear in Arrendale city. "
' The Covenant? '
He took a moment to browse through his books but he couldn't find anything about 'The Covenant. '
" What is The Covenant? "
The servant looked lost at the question and spoke.
" I do not know enough about them to explain for you. All I can tell you is that their an elite group of Psykers that only train their souls and are forbidden from learning any cultivation techniques. "
Julian didn't expect much from a servant so he nodded and told the servant he was going to head to the city library.
The servant nodded and followed along.
After about 10 minutes of travel they arrived at the doors of the Library and went inside. He asked the Lady at the desk about books on the Covenant and she pointed to a small shelf containing only 5 books. He picked them up and read through all of them in 20 minutes.
When he finished he browsed the information about The Covenant. He was having a bit of trouble finding the specific information. Although he just read the info it was more like a download. Just as he was getting out the doors of the library he found the information he wanted.
The Covenant is an ancient and powerful organization composed of several thousand races and species all serving the same purpose. To destroy Chaos wherever it manifests in the world. Each member is specifically picked and members are only allowed to train their souls and practice Psychic abilities. By focusing solely on one thing they can train their souls incredibly fast compared to others who practice Psychic power and cultivation. The group is lead by powerful Psykers who have successfully passed the Divinities passage Tribulation. These great Psykers are referred to as the Heavenly court. Although the Covenant is quite possibly the strongest force in the world. Each member has to take an oath not to intervene in The world's business. Those that break this oath will have their souls shattered. Unlike most oaths however this oath can only be broken once one becomes a god of divinity. During the Great war between elves and man Several powerful elves and humans within the Covenant were forced to watch their races obliterate each other.
Once he satisfied his curiosity towards the Covenant he spoke to the servant.
" Take me to The best soul stone market "
The servant nodded and began to lead the way.

Back at the city lord's palace Chad sat across from a man In white robes. Besides the Man sat across from him was two Golden Immortal stage cultivators. One was a Blue scaled Draconian with long black horns and green eyes and the other was a Fat and Bald Ork. The pressure exerted by these two made it hard for Chad to breath. While the two men looked at him he Placed a spirit ring on the table and spoke.
" The Koryak Kingdom is Grateful for the Covenants aid against the Insidious Chaos beings. After our capital fell most of our resources were plundered by the demon race to the south so we can only give you this miniscule gift. "
After he spoke he nervously looked at the man across from him.
The man in white picked up the ring and bonded with it. Inside was thousands of High Grade soul stones . The man smiled and spoke in reply.
" As a representative of The Covenant here in the blue sun Territory. I Mark Sandoval give you my word we will Eradicate Any and all chaos we come into contact with. As for things like payment and Gifts they are not needed. "
The man in white Slid the ring back to Chad and spoke again.
" Has the Koryak kingdom found the Human who's breakthrough into the black soul state reached 700+ feet? As you know such a figure is Highly valued by the entirety of The Covenant. Most of the Heavenly court members such as myself barely surpassed 600 feet when we were younger. "
The man laughed as he spoke. He too was a human so when he heard the news of a human prodigy. He was Delighted and quick to rush over.
Chad nervously laughed with him before going silent. Mark finished laughing and his face went from joy to a serious Expression.
" I hope The Koryak Kingdom can help me to find him as quickly as possible. "
He finished speaking and stood up.
" I will take my leave now. speak with my Disciple if you have any questions. I will depart to Iron Blood Fortress to speak with your king. "
Chad was shocked by his words and stood up quickly. He smacked the table with both hands and yelled.
" The king is at Iron Blood Fortress?? "
Chads sudden movement alerted the two guards and they exerted their aura even fiercer causing him to fall to his knees.
Mark turned around and spoke.
" Yes, your king is indeed alive. It seems that Old Ancestor of yours had some big secrets. Not only did he summon the God of light Victor, but he managed to teleport most of the Koryak Royalty to Iron Blood fortress. "
Once he finished speaking a Golden light covered him and his Guards and they disappeared. Chad stood back up with the help of the table and was drenched in sweat. Under normal circumstances some one as insignificant as himself would never have a conversation like this with a member of the Heavenly court.
Once he recovered he immediately yelled to his servant's to activate the Message Crystal. A beautiful white crystal that allowed for information to be instantly transmitted over long distances.
" Connect me with Iron Blood Fortress immediately. "
He quickly traveled to the crystals room and a Hologram of a man in Royal Armor appeared. He had black hair and blue eyes with black skin indicating he had overcome the Callan's curse and was in the ensoulment stage or higher.
" General Lee! Is it true that The king is within the Iron Blood Fortress? "
The man floating above the crystal ball looked over and squinted his eyes at the man.
" Ah Chad its you! How did the meeting with the Covenant go? And yes the king is currently here at Iron Blood Fortress. "
Hearing this the worry in Chads heart disappeared and he Spoke about what he and the Covenant had discussed.
Chad told The general that The Heavenly court member mark was on his way and the general chuckled.
" He's already here. "
The two talked back and forth about family and random things as they were close friends. Chad was about to deactivate the message but then he remembered what else he was going to ask. All the talk about family and other things almost made him forget.
" I have one more thing I'd like to inquire about. Yesterday a man at the Nascent soul stage entered the city and he wore Royal Guard armor and carried with him the Royal badge. I'd like to know more about him. "
Mark heard this but he had no knowledge of it so he shook his head.
" I have no knowledge about such a person but I will ask his highness. "
Mark disappeared from the Hologram and five minutes later a new person appeared. As soon as Chad Saw the man he fell to his knee and bowed.
" My king it is an honor to speak to you personally. "
King James motioned for him to stand up and asked about the person he had reported.
" Ah yes I do know of that man. His name is Julian correct? "
Chad nodded at his question.
" You said he was A nascent soul stage expert? "
Chad nodded once again. The king was confused, when he saw Julian he had tan skin indicating he had cleared himself from Callan's curse and was an ensoulment stage or higher.
" Strange. Tell me what color is his skin? "
Chad was confused by his question as he thought it was obvious but he answered respectfully anyways.
" He had purple skin My king. "
" What! "
The king was shocked by his answer. he was doubtful whether they were talking about the same person.
"You're certain that man is Julian? "
Chad nodded and replied.
" I am certain. If it helps when I asked him how he got the badge he told me he brought news of traitors to you and was awarded it along with the Armor.
' So it really is him. '
James thought about what the hell was going on and then spoke.
" Try and keep a good relationship with him and report to me about everything he does. "
Chad nodded and spoke again.
" I have already entered into a trade contract with him. I saw him selling Rank 3 cores at the Phoenix Auction house so I managed to talk him into an Exclusive Deal where he sells his cores directly to me for a fixed price. "
" Oh? Really now? "
The king was surprised to hear this.
" How many Rank 3 cores did he sell you? "
Chad pulled out Several large boxes from his interspatial ring and placed them on the floor.
I purchased 20 Rank 3 cores, 50 Rank 2 cores and 150 Rank 1 cores all in perfect condition. "
King James heard this and was astounded. A single Nascent soul stage cultivator sold all of those? He must have a sect or something behind him to collect such an incredible amount of cores.
" If he brings any more cores to you make sure to buy them and keep him as a close trade partner. I Will send some men to Luohe city to pick up the cores you've bought and reimburse you for them. If you run out of money and can't buy any more cores from him let me know and I will send it over right away. "
Chad nodded and bowed
" I understand My king. "
James turned around and spoke
" If that is all I will take my leave now. "
Chad bowed again and the king left. The General came back on and the two discussed Matters for another 2 hours before deactivating the transmission.
