"LUCAS! You have crossed the line! Just because we've been friends since young does not mean we can overlook your bad manners," Davian's voice blasted through the sleek and black device that was placed next to his ear.
He started to regret to make the first call. He did not even get to have a say the moment Davian answered his phone call.
"Ever since you mess around with that girl, you've been all over the place. You've changed! Is that all that our years of friendships amount to? To be thrown away down the chute over some girl you recently met?" he chided.
Lucas kept quiet and accepted the beratement from his friend. Davian was right. What use would it be to fight the truth? He admitted that he was in the wrong and did not wish to cast his friends aside. The least he could do was listen and agree to all their criticism and reflect upon it.
