It was a chilly, overcast Wednesday morning and the sun rays could barely pierce into the clouds to warm the Earth. Harith had applied leave of absence for three days and regretted he did not extend it longer. He had been feeling so down in the dumps and his only sunshine was nowhere to cheer his day.
He woke up to see the empty spot on the left side of the bed looking so void. There was nothing to motivate him to start his day that particular morning but he woke up early all the same. There was a clinging feeling in his heart that he had been yearning for but there was no way it would come true.
He walked up to his wardrobe and put on a nicely pressed white dress shirt, loosely tucked in inside his black trousers held together by a brown belt. He proceeded to put on roughly his black tie around his neck and quickly brushed his black hair neat.
