Sara was trembling in fear when he silently stood up and walked to her side. It was as though he was King Cobra being confronted, its fang ready to attack out of defence, preparing to inject its venom into their skin and paralysed its prey.
She was getting uncomfortable under his gaze by the second as goosebumps began to form around her arms and neck. He may not have bit her with venom but she was indeed paralysed by his stares. This was the very first time she felt frightened to be alone with him.
"What. Exactly. Are you worried about?"
In spite of his angry features and frightening aura, his voice was gentle. Too gentle that she was lured in as he stared right into the windows of her soul, to be engulfed into his invisible blaze like a moth to the flame.
