Lucas was confused with Sara's message.
'Why does it sound as though we're not meeting with each other anymore?'
Immediately he gave her a call. He wanted clarification from her whether she meant what he thinks it meant.
A thousand possibilities ran through his head but all of those did not match with Sara's personality. It was highly unlikely if she is angry because he is seeing other girls. To say she is jealous of him meeting other girls is beyond imagination. After all, she had never denied of him being a stranger in her life.
He did not even reconsider about the likelihood that Sara might feel upset because Lucas skipped out on their lunch date numerous times into his options. It was ridiculous to believe so.
