A faint peppermint smell wafted through her nostril, and it suddenly transported her to the past - to the day that charming blonde-haired man who was now her husband and father of her child attacked her with the waiter's perfume.
Even up until now, she was not sure what made him to be a very playful person and what initiated him to buy the perfume in bulk. Yet, that peppermint perfume had become a part of their daily meet-ups, from being friends to a couple, from being engaged to spouses.
To be able to smell the familiar scent after so long was quite comforting. But to see a familiar bag that he had gifted and one that she rarely used brought tears to her eyes. If only she had been appreciative in the first place. She wiped it away with her index finger, convincing herself that they would be able to meet up anytime soon.
Slowly, she opened up the purse, only to see things were being packed rather hastily as though it was being shoved into the expensive bag.
