She stood alone in the middle of the darkness, without a bearing of where she is currently at. She stretched out her hands to the front only to see her hands swallowed by the emptiness.
There was not even a white fog or grey smokes present. Not even the slightest colour could be seen apart from different shades of black with midnight being the lightest amongst them all.
With zero visibility, the lack of smells and the eerily quiet area was more than enough to drive her crazy. There was nothing else to accompany her but her noisy heartbeat, her panic breathing and the absence of light.
She walked forward with caution, her hands trying to cope a feel of her surroundings with her eyes shut tight, hoping her sense of hearing would be enhanced and amplified.
Yet, her sense of hearing was deemed useless as not a single sound could be heard. In the end, she relied on her sense of touch. Anything that could give her a clue of her whereabouts.
