"Mr Cole Crawford, you have been summoned to a hearing to decide your fate after you broke from your cell," said the general. "Yeah. I know," groaned Cole while putting his hands forward so they could handcuff him. The general puts his hands on his and pushes them down. Cole raises an eyebrow and follows him.
They were about to pass the Transfluxer. Cole wanted to and needed to escape. He walked deliberately, so he was a few steps behind. As soon as he gets the chance, he jumps in the Transfluxer. The General sees him and starts to run for him, but it was too late. Cole says, "Milky Way, Planet Earth Transfluxer, United States, Chicago, Buckingham Fountain." His body mixes with the empty blackness and disappears.
He reaches the Buckingham fountain and starts to run. Sweat trickled down his forehead even though it was windy. The wind was disturbing his direction, but he kept moving and didn't stop. He turns around to see someone appearing in the Transfluxer. It was Blaze. His legs were going numb with running, but he couldn't stop.
At last, he falls. Blaze was far behind him. But his pace was too quick. As soon as Cole stood up to run again, Blaze was only ten steps away. Cole sprints as fast he could. The sun was beginning to set, and the lights were brighter than ever. He gulps down the dryness forming in his throat which almost choked him.
Cole was losing his speed and Blaze was gaining on him. Blaze grabs his shirt and throws him on the grass. Cole gives a disgusting look. Blaze loaded his gun. "Goodbye brother, you failed me," whispered Blaze in a cracked voice, while shutting his eyes and blinking away the tears forming in his eyes. The bullet hit Cole's chest and he collapsed. The last thought crossed his mind, "THERE IS NOT A PLACE IN ANY GALAXY YOU CAN THINK OF WHERE YOU COULD HIDE FROM ME." His vision went blurry with tears and faded out.
