A blue planet named Zestra, its environment was no different than the earthling, fresh air, blue sea and lands. Two-third of the world was covered with water while the rest was land itself. There were currently 5 continents on it. The world was mostly populated with humans.
Firstly, Terra located on the center of the other four continent. This was the trading center of the world where businessmen gathered here from all around the global to this promised land in pursue of wealth. They also the biggest food supplier to the world itself. Its people supported democracy government.
Next, Pyro located in the west of Terra continent. The people living here were considered to have strict behaviour due to its militaristic nature and the geographic structure, full of of semi active volcanos. Although their militaristic nature was good, they relied solely on metal manufacturers. Among the five, Pyro was the largest in term of area. They had an absolute monarchy.
In addition, Hydro located on northeast of the trading center. They were known as the Maritime Paradise where school of fish of all kind gathered near the continent. Seafood would be its speciality and it was indeed a food heaven for seafood lovers. Their aquaculture would be considered unrivaled. Its government was constitutional monarchy.
Similarly, Aero, land of the wind. It was located on the south of Hydro and southeast of Terra. Despite not many things available to the people due to dangerous mountains, the continent itself was known as the Medical Holy Land. The herbs and spices which Zestra offered to its people was not weaker than its siblings. They were a theocracy government.
Finally, located in heavy mist just north of Pyro was Electro. The most mysterious and unexplored land. Rumors about this continent was that it was the resting of an evil serpent. However, history of the world told that Electro was once the heart of science itself where geniuses gathered and competed in advancing the civilisation.
Unfortunately, among the Five, only four was available to the public. Such land had not only contributed to the world advancement but heavily impacted on its technological decline due to strong internal conflict and pollution it produce.
Next, the inhabitants were humans. Hydro and Terra were mostly inhabited by Naisa people. Naisa on Earth are being called Asian.
In addition, Aero and Pyro were being occupied by Caucasoid on Earthly term but Zestrian referred them as Vanadis. Also Negroid or Nomi had been the minority on Pyro but majority in Electro.
After the Grand Calamity event, a historic moment where normal humans mutated and gained what people called Energy Heart (Enart) located between the lungs and heart. It helps to absorb particles known as Zest Particles or as either ancient people and martialists called them either Mana or Qi.
Unfortunately, the price for the Zestrians had to pay were in a form of countless beasts began swarming from newly emerged portals feasting upon the former.
Fortunately, to combat this, new profession emerged known as Predators. Their job consisted of hunting, recon, securing portals and the important of all they had an extremely high income. But as one might say, "no pain, no gain" because some Predators will probably die while on a mission thus it was an extremely dangerous job.

On the year 2090, Princess Aminah Hospital was located in Covid City. The hospital was one of the government funded hospitals in Tulah District of Kingdom of Johore. The kingdom was located on the south of Hydro continent.
In room A-90, an elderly man had tears flowing from his eyes watching a 6 years old boy on bed with tubes all over his body, resting with eyes closed as if waiting for Death's greeting.
The man wore a dark blue business suit with golden watch on his left wrist. He had short mustache and beard enough to cover his mouth and chin. Both of the large hands were holding the little hand. White skin with wrinkles with 169cm height and weight about 60kg.
"Pain, isn't it? Looking at your grandson lying without any sign of hope."
When the elderly man heard the voice, he shifted the sight and saw a youth with the same age as his grandson before vanished. He took out a gun from the coat and aimed at the direction of the voice. Much to his surprise, all of his bodyguards had lied down unconscious.
"Who are you!?"
Unfortunately, other than his defeated guards, no one else was there. The man knew that the figure was not a simple person to be able to knock down everyone swiftly without raising alarm.
"What do you want from this old man?"
"A deal... Mr. Edward."
"Deal?"
Soon out of the darkness, a right black shoe came out followed by its partner. Then, the two met face to face. One was an elderly while other was an opposite.
"What is this about a deal?"
"Simple, in exchange for the health of your beloved descendant, you'll be my slave for half a century."
When Edward heard the term, he almost laughed because of how ridiculous the situation both of them.
"Heed my word, Mr. Edward. Your grandson had less than a week left. And the deadline was before tomorrow sunset. Becoming my slave had its own perk unlike those other."

Edward was silent because of the way the masked child asked him. First, he thought that it was just a prank by some some but on the other hand, how could such child had an immense killing aura.
To Edward, his other descendants were parasites that only after his massive wealth and they were good for nothing while this grandson was the child left behind by his late daughter.
After sank into deep thought. With a deep breath, the gun went down. Before he looked straight into the trespasser's eyes.
"What should I do?"
"Hahaha~! Indeed as they say, Mr Edward Richard is indeed a bold one."
The youth gave a piece of paper written in blue.
