It was a busy day on the road that evening. The number of times Ashe cursed the road was uncountable. Every time she did, though, Adrien would hiss. "Leave them alone just for today." And Ashe would sigh and place her head against the window. "We're running out of time."
Her dad was at the wheel, with no driving license, no identity card. Hopefully, no one came trailing a random man on the road and asked for his driving license. As long as he didn't get into an accident in this heavy traffic.
As the sun bowed lower into the sea, Ashe fell asleep in the car.
James looked over and smiled lightly. "She must be exhausted. The game must have not been kind."
After a few seconds, Adrien decided to ask. "Why?" James paid him attention at that question. "Why did you create such a game? Too many levels, too hard to play…"
