In the Kingdom of Dalmacia
From the top of one of the vigilance towers in the Dalmacian capital's castle, a sentinel saw something approaching from the horizon. He instructed the guard up there with him to immediately sound the alarm. Something about what he saw gave him an incredibly ominous feeling.
The thing approaching the castle seemed like a ball of light when seen from afar. But as it got closer, it was evidently a man enveloped in bright light. He was soaring through the air over the ocean in an upright position. Those who saw him thought it was a Specter or some sort of Apparition (ghostly beings that sometimes appeared to haunt the living but could easily be banished by White mages).
The floating man enveloped in light stopped moving the moment he was directly above the castle. He looked down at the castle and the city built around it.
