Wyatt was a lot closer then I expected him to be. My connection actually felt different then it had before. What was different? It was almost as if it had changed right then, and there. It's presence was getting stronger bit by bit.
This confusion was followed by a heat in my gut. Almost as if some sort of strength was rushing through me. I blinked in confusion. I'd never felt anything like this as I stumbled to my feet slowly. I found myself staring at my hand as I opened, and closed it repeatedly.
What was this feeling?
{You really need to ask} Wyatt's voice caught me off guard.
"How?" I mumbled to myself.
{Don't think about that now,} Wyatt continued as if he could hear me {I was just as surprised as you were. A pleasant surprise, but a surprise nonetheless. I'm passively strengthening you. It's one of the benefits of being one of my bonded. Don't get cocky though. Your physical condition is still terrible. Sit back, and enjoy the show.}
I could feel his presence getting stronger. It granted me some strength. I'd never felt anything like this before. That thin tether that kept me under control had changed into something else entirely. I felt it then.
A wave of mana so powerful it was impossible to ignore. The part that surprised me the most was the different intermixed mana of over a thousand beings coming down on the city. One of which was so powerful that it overwhelmed all the others. Wyatt was hurt. He was hurt badly, but he was still here.
He had come for me, and that was the push I needed since I already trusted him a great deal. Wyatt's magic power completely overwhelmed them all. The purity of his mana just made it that much more amazing. His cracked core couldn't handle casting any spells right now though. He came here despite the fact that half of his strength was restricted to him.
That was when I realized that the whole courtyard had fallen completely silent. The black mass on the horizon was more then enough to silence all the people here once they noticed it. Elves were mana sensitive. Some of them had probably noticed it before I did. My mana sense was better then a humans by far, but it wasn't as inescapable as an elf's.
Wyatt's ability to completely hide his mana was a unique one. The queen turned to her four loyal guards.
"Bring them with," she didn't need to point at us for them to know that it was us she wanted.
She walked into the large throne room after that. Her entourage of royal descendants, and royal guards came with. She crossed the room to sit in the throne as she waited. My mother, and I were thrown down in front of the throne so that we were right in the middle of her field of vision. She wanted us where she could see us easily.
I decided to keep an eye on those four guards that creeped me out after I checked my mom's condition. I wasn't capable of using any healing spells so I couldn't do anything besides check on her, and that gave me a sense of guilt. I wondered what exactly Wyatt was planning. He couldn't use mana right now, and he was still severely injured. I sat back, and observed.
Hoping that whatever observations I made would help.

Wyatt
I stood on Aqua's head as she flew. I was the only one that wasn't attached to my beast out of everyone in this group. Only about half of the wyverns had someone riding their backs. I was surprised I'd gotten so many volunteers in the first place. Some of use were guaranteed to die.
Aqua had taken the place of alpha over all the wyverns. She wasn't that much weaker then the male that had been in charge previously. Ethan was only a few wyverns away from me. Savannah, and Jax were on the front line as well. None of them liked my plan, but I was more then a little sure that it would work.
I could just be getting a little cocky, but I'd seen the greed, and murder in the queen's aura. I was pretty sure that she would sacrifice everything if I offered her the right payout. She wasn't as kind as she pretended to be. I'd never seen something so hideous in my entire life. Even the bloodlust, and insanity that Letty constantly gave off was nothing like her aura or lack of one.
I'd met very few people that had no aura at all. All of them had been complete psychos. People who couldn't feel emotion were the only ones that escaped this version of vision. When I looked at her I saw no emotion. The same as if I were looking at an object or tree.
I spotted the castle, and the courtyard in front of it first. My vision was far superior to that of ordinary humans so it wasn't all that surprising that I spotted our goal first. My mana permeated all the surroundings. My purified core drew more pure mana to it then anything else. It didn't just repel the poisonous mana.
It actually destroyed the poisonous elements in the mana. My presence alone was actively purifying mana. I couldn't wait to see the effects my purified core was capable of once I finished healing. I was exhausted beyond belief. I hadn't allowed myself to sleep even once since my core had finished purifying.
I was certain that I would collapse for some time once I allowed myself to rest. Aqua landed at the bottom of the steps that led into the palace. Lowering her head so I could walk up the steps. I proceeded to do just that. Ethan, and Savannah flanked me from each side.
Ethan to my right, and Savannah to my left. I already had my twin black blades drawn. The fact that no one noticed me storing the twin blades showed just how bad they were at observing their targets. Maybe it was the chaos. Maybe it was the fact that they thought I wasn't capable of such things.
