Any dodging he might do would knock him out of the sky. My smiled widened so that every single one of my sharp finger long teeth was easily visible. I snarled angrily. My wings flared as I banked sharply. Heading straight at him with the intent to kill.
He spat flames at me. I turned slightly upward so that my chest took the brunt of his flames as we collided. My feet locked with his own as I gripped his wings with my hands tightly. Our teeth locking before he could snap at my neck. He spit flames into my mouth.
I breathed in the mana of his flames. Absorbing it greedily. My core didn't reject any of his mana. None of it bothered me in the slightest. Their mana veins, and cores were just like a humans.
It might be possible for me to bond with one. I pushed the thought aside when my lungs filled completely. My lungs could barely contain the amplified mana. The blast of fire that followed a few seconds later was ten times more powerful then the mana I'd absorbed from his breath. My flames poured down his throats with such power that it burned a holes through multiple points on his neck.
The light faded from his eyes as I slammed his limp body into the ground. I waited for his heart to stop beating before leaping off of him. My tail flicked as I scanned the sky. Allowing Savannah, and Ethan to right themselves properly before jumping back into the air. I loved the fact that I could take to the air so easily.
I planned to only keep on fighting for another hour. My fully extended wings were powerful evidence of what I was capable of. I kept on pushing forward with the intent to fight three or four more wyverns before going back to the front line to rest. I wasn't just going to exhaust myself over a few wyverns. Fighting was the thing I was good at.
I would keep on fighting as long as there were enemies in front of me. I kept my head on a swivel as I continued my trek across the sky. I only ended up flying another half an hour before I spotted a small army of wyverns. There were a few dozen of them moving as a group. I pulled up sharply as I fell into a hover pattern.
I would be in trouble if they all hit me at once. I had to at least try, and thin the numbers a bit. They had spotted me by now. They headed my direction. I chose to open a portal, and appear behind them.
Two of them turned their heads as they tried to bank sharply. They'd sensed me creating the portal. Lightning sparked through my scales with enough power to make the closest wyverns turn toward me in a hurry. My whole body thrummed with the excitement of the fight to come. I forced a spatial portal to open with no destination in mind again.
The black hole that formed because of the forced spatial distortion sucked everything toward it. Anything that came toward me would have to go through the black dot first. My muscles tensed as I readied myself for the fight to come. I would kill at least half of the wyverns right here. Right now.
My powerful roar shook the air around me as I closed in on the group. Passing right by the deadly spell between us as I did. The wyverns really didn't know what to do with me. Some of them looked halfway tempted to flee as my mana filled the surroundings. I slammed into the first one with enough force to shove him back mid air.
I swung him as if he weighed nothing as I threw him toward the black dot. The wyvern looked more then a little surprised as he was sucked into the black dot, and thrown out as mince meat. The next one tried to claw at my back. He hit an invisible wall as he was bathed in flames. He flames passed right through the invisible wall with a grid pattern.
Ethan actually imagined a grid pattern in his telekinesis so that Savannah's flames could pass through. The wyvern stopped his charge, and fell back with heavily scorched scales. The next one that came after me wasn't at all prepared for the attack that followed as my tail wrapped around his neck. Yanking his head into the grip of my feet. Squeezing hard as I dug my claws in.
The wyvern roared in rage as he tried to curl his body enough to claw at me. I pulled him up so I could grip his head with my hands. Raking my claws through the flesh of his back with ease before dropping him to go after another wyvern who was coming at me from the left. I roared as he collided with my neck. I dug my wing claw into his underbelly as his talons closed around my neck.
I reached forward with my other wing claw, and struck out with it as I gripped his tail. I tore his wing open with ease as the wyvern leaned down to take a bite out of my back only to be stopped by Ethan. Getting a mouth full of Savannah's flames instead. The wyverns claws barely scratched me through my hardened scales. Lightning poured out of me through the small wound.
Freezing up the wyvern's muscles, and making his grip lock around my neck. I yanked my wing claws out of him, and slammed them both into his legs. Dragging them through muscle, and sinew alike. His grip released as one of his toes was torn off of his foot. The wyvern slowly started falling as my wings took up our combined weight.
I brought the spatial anomaly closer, and the wyvern's heart rate picked up even though he was paralyzed. More blood poured out of his wounds as I gripped his tail. I loosened my grip enough that he slid out of it. My claws dragging through his flesh as he slipped free. The wyvern screamed as he started to regain control of his body.
