I was back in my room around three in the morning. I have opened the door silently that the neighbors Shade most particularly wouldn't hear me come in. Though, my body were laced with bruises and the cold shiver that ran down my spine, I quickly rolled into my blanket and covered myself from my hair to my feet.
The beautiful morning came. It was clearer than a crystal. I was awake and at same time still asleep because I was snoring yet, I am still very much aware of my environment.
Shade was battled with confusion as she has never seen me slept like that before. I wouldn't know but what could be drowning in her thought would be why I was sleeping in the manner which seemed I was dead and parked in the mortuary. But that's her own juice to drink. It's none of her concern what happened to me or what doesn't happen to me.
The moment she wanted to open the blanket which would have revealed my face, I quickly voiced out to stop her.
"I am okay this way."
