The Fallen: Homefront

After the political scandals of the early 1950s, humanity came together to work together to progress as a species. All of civilization has collapsed and only livable areas are in the North American continental region and the Asian continental region. As humanity was pulling themselves out of the hole they made, a company called Volgun Engineering Industry was founded by Benedict Volgun. The company made various advances in technology and brought humanity back on their feet. They were the main industry for high-tech technology, planes, cars, computers. If you can name it, they made one better. As civilization continued to advance there was a schism between the East and West and the New Earth government crumbled. The North American region formed the NAC or North American Coalition which had the USA, Canada and the northern parts of Mexico and the and the Asian region formed the DAP or Democratic Asian Pact which had Russia, China, Mongolia and India. Both sides prepared for war, there was one battle, the "the "One Day" battle and in that battle hundreds of thousands died. Both sides knew that another war would be the end of the human race, they made an agreement to leave each other alone. The DAP made a free-market republic centered around it's people and the NAC made a socialist dictatorship centered around the government. The NAC government took over the VEI as a governmental agency and used their technology to control other's lives and to oppress the citizens of the NAC. New made robot SED as security guards to keep the citizens in line. But they wanted more, they began to kidnap children. The NAC government took the children, trained them to be soldiers and would change them slowly to be more cybernetic. They were called Cybergen. Ruthless killing machines that can calculate their actions in battle. They were to replace the SEDs as SEDs were unable to think or imagine. But the program failed and most of the Cybergen were killed, but some survived and escaped. Some tried to integrate into civilization but most failed. They were forced into jobs like prostitutes, wet workers and drug dealers in a corrupt, tyrannical country. Some cybergens joined with other humans to form pocket resistance groups.
