Chapter 32 - CHAPTER THIRTY TWO : LAGOS

(Sunday the 26th of September)

The drive was a long one, but the driver drove us down to my parents house, it was my moms driver, so the driver was a woman but still she was a very good driver, she drove us home and the house was still the same it was still as beautiful as always but every time I visit I would notice a change or two and this time their gate has been made electrical, what an improvement from gate men I am sure they would be able to save a lot of money as I believe they have fired the former man, well it looks even and perfect, but it looks like they added some new designs to the main building too.

It fells good to be home, and I mean it, because I could fell it, it is good to be home, to be in my home sweet home, hmm I love this place.

Her driving was really smooth, and it was nice, she took a stop at a gas station to get some fuel, and it was a long drive from there, we entered the estate, and it was as quiet as always, hmm I could still fell the rich man breeze every where I look was a remembrance of my past, not like I had something to hide, but I had almost forgotten what it felt like to be Rich, what it felt like to have money at your disposal, but this was not the life I wanted for my self and my children this was of it at all.

"Sir" she said as she looked at me

We were already in the building as I was no longer paying attention to what was happening in my front.

"Oh"

With this I left the car to meet Habiba and Stella they were already in the main building.

I walked upstairs to show them their rooms.

Authors note : Hi gyes please this chapter fell really boring from Muhammad's POV, so I would like to switch to habiba's POV okay, and so the nest chapter would still be habiba's POV and I guess I would continue like that in the original sequel okay, thanks love.

The drive was like for ever, it took us twenty long habiba's a year to get here, which was cool because it was fun, the sightseeing was amazing and all, wow I really love their big house it looks like an estate itself their house was the first house in the estate, and its design was different from the other houses looks like his dad owns the whole estate, wow I am so shocked by this.

He looks us to a big room which we were to stay in for the main time, so we both settled down, we wanted to change, so he gave is some time to do so.

The bag we took were stuffed with cash and cloths since the money I had in my account was not enough for the both of us, I was really thankful to Muhammad for taking us in, and I am thankful to him to, our lives were in his hands and he did what was best for our lives.

I was done bathing now, and I wore some new cloths it was really nice they were all new cloths, it was a sweat suit, and it was nice since it was raining season, I put on the cloth and wore a scarf on my head, it was a little too tight, but I could manage it, I raped the brown Vail over my head and fixed the remaining fabric behind my head as I clipped it on with a pin.

I sat down on the floor and started looking at the picture book, I was already confused, and I did not know what to do any more my tiny brains can not handle all this madness, I was tired and at the same time stressed out.

"Who is that?"

"Hmm" I said looking at Stella with teary eyes

"Maryam?…?"

"What?" I was still in shock of what I just learned from my parents.

"Is that Maryam"

"Yes it is"

"Good day mam, please breakfast is ready, so let's go and eat shall be" a maid came in and instructed us

"Okay!" Stella was already out of the room before I knew what was going on.

"Stella... Stella..... Stella"

"Habiba you know watin be your problem you know de worri you, you no de enjoy life, haba make we go eat na I de hungry abeg"

"What, ma what language was that?" I asked, it sounded like English had an accident in her mouth and somehow it was now broken.

"Pidgin?"

"Please I did not understand what it meant"

"Hmm who be this one way now fit speak pidgin English, na from where she come?" The maid said in an annoying tone.

"I mean to say let's eat first what ever we were talking about can wait"

"Okay"

Maryam may her gentle soul rest in peace, Amen.

"Similar" I said a wanted to Begin eating

We both ate together, and I wondered where Muhammad was, maybe he was still taking a shower, since he was not hear and there was no man to hear, so I unpinned the Vail and kept it on my leg, when I lived with my fake parents we do not talk during our meals, so I ate quietly and did not make a sound.

We finished eating and still we both did not break the silence that was in the room, it was a long meal as I ate really slowly.

"You know when you're done I would lie is to take a look around this area" she says as she gets out of the dinning hall.

"Okay" I replied as I continued eating

*habiba go* my instinct said, it has been long I heard from her, so I did as she instructed.

I dropped my spoon and stood up, I took my Vail and rapped it around my head, and pinned it at the back this was a different design than the former one I did.

I stood up and took a cup of water then I walked out towards the entrance door and said.

"Let's go"

She was seated around the door, looks like she was waiting for me.

"So"

"Yeah where are we going to?" I asked.

"Well let's get to know this place just in case" she said

Well I understood what she means by just in case, so we should know where to run to, but divine told me not to trust any woman I meat so that means I could trust men right, and so Muhammad was a man, and so I could trust him right.

"Just in case what?" I wanted her to explain further.

"You never can tell with politicians like yours"

"Okay"

"I thought you wanted to tell me something about a girl?"

"Oh yes, Maryam, she was a friend of mine"

We were outside the estate now, and we were still walking towards nowhere, we did not know where we were going to we just kept on walking.

As we walked past so many thing I started having flash back of when I was rescued in Abuja, the road looks alike but since I was unconscious there was nothing I could do.

"Well Maryam was a very good friend of mine she .... Habiba are you listening to me at all?"

I was drowning deep into the ocean of my mind, I was confused and scared at the same time, I wanted a better life for my self, this means that I would not be going to school any more it also means that I would not become a lawyer, then what I am, or what will become of me.

"Habiba" she said as she tapped me on my shoulder, while she looked at me in shock at kept staring without blinking her eyes.

"Hmm, what" I said as I was just woken up from my slumber.

"Did you hear a word that I said?" She asked with a concerned face.

"No, I am tired"

"Okay, do you want to go home"

"Yes maybe"

We were now far from the estate, and so we turned our backs to move back to Muhammad's parents house.

"Hello Mrs. Harun can I help you?" A familiar voiced called from a police van that has been out there since the first time we passed.

"Sir?" I said in shock as the police MSN opened the door as he came out…

"What are you doing here?"

"What?"

It was detective Yusuf, and he was the same man that helped rescued me, it was the same police man that dad was yelling at, what could he possibly be doing in Lagos.

Sir do you work here, or you have just been known by the lands people, wait a minute I am confused I said as I kept looking at him until he disappeared.

"Habiba what is it?" Stella asked with a concert looked on her face.

"That man looks familiar"

"Yeah, maybe you would have seen him in the news once or twice he is detective Yusuf!"

"What? How do you know that?" I asked in complete shock.

"Well, I do not on a personal level, but he is kind of a good man I believe"

"Hmm, I guess because he is a police officer"

"Yeah"

I was still confused as to what the hell he was doing out here, but the truth was maybe he was on his leave or something, I don't even understand, this left my tiny mind blew by what I saw, but it looked like he was coming from work, God I am damn confused.
