"Habiba"
"Habiba" Maryann called out to my name as I was still busy sleeping.
"Habiba" she called my name in tears
"What is it?" I answered as I was tired of hearing her call my name like that, what was the matter?, why is she crying.
"Habiba, mom" she replied as she continued to sober slowly as if there was no tomorrow.
"What is wrong?" I asked her, why was she acting like this, I don't know what is wrong with her.
"Habiba they found mom..." She continued to sober, was Nancy dead?
"Habiba they found mom, and they said she..."
"She is gone" Maryann cries on my arm and I can't still comprehend what she just told me, don't tell me that Nancy is dead, I mean she has a lot to tell me, I mean she has a lot of things to tell me, she can't go like this what about the picture book and all the other things she promised to tell me, what about Maryam, how am I going to understand it now, how am I supposed to find her now.
