(Levi's POV)
"Captain?" The faint voice of one of Hange's cadets snapped me back into reality. "Oh..sorry, what were you saying?" I questioned as I sat up in my leather desk chair. Her black braided hair framed her petite face. She was cute, but nothing compared to Emi.
"I was told to deliver these reports to you sir." She explained as I nodded, running my left hand through my short, well tamed black hair. "Can I ask you something, Cadet?" I asked as she nodded, a gentle smile appearing on her lips. "You're one of Cadet Toragashi's friends, right?" I coyly asked.
My mind was a mess since I woke up this morning. I rarely let my heart make decisions for me but...something about Emi made it almost impossible to control myself. She challenged me in ways that most people would be to afraid to. "You mean Emi? Yeah, I met her when we were in training Sir. She's one of the most loyal friends I have." Cadet Lulu stated confidently as I nodded.
"Do you know where she is?" I looked at her as she tapped her chin. "Well, she was gone before I woke up this morning. She must have went to train. I saw her earlier with Ryu." LuLu admitted as I raised an eyebrow. Jealousy slowly creeping through my body as I grabbed the rim of my tea cup.
"Any idea where they went?" Part of me didn't want to know. Visions of another man touching her made my blood boil. The other part of me was dying to know what she was doing. Why did this girl have me thinking this way? I felt strange. Lulu looked at me and smiled. "Ryu told me last night that he was going to see if she wanted to eat dinner with him. I think they are on patrol right now." She answered as I quickly gulped down my scalding hot tea. My tastebuds screaming in agony as I sat the cup down onto its matching plate.
"I'll take those files from you. Thank you, you're dismissed." I coldly stayed as I stood up, grabbing my tan scout regime jacket and headed out. I felt stupid for even going to find her. I knew it was against the military rules for anyone of higher rank to be involved with someone of lower rank. But, the thought of her with someone else felt like a knife to my heart. I stopped walking in-front of a large glass window.
My gaze drifted out to the adjacent building where I saw her. The beautiful colors of the sunset danced on her exposed skin. I felt my heart skip a beat as she smiled and talked to a tall, Silver haired boy. I could only assume that he was Ryu. "Shit.." I muttered as I put my hand over my face. I think I'm in love with Emi.
