It was eleven past fifteen in the night, and the city that never sleeps- Mumbai was bustling with traffic and dazzling nightlife. The atmosphere in the city was much warmer than that of the cold suburban areas.
Two RTO[1] Police Officers in the uniform of white shirt and khaki pants could be seen standing out at the checkpoint on the highway with E-challan machines and breathalyzers in their hands as they were strictly checking the passerby vehicles and their identification documents.
Suddenly, a custom made Royal Enfield Bullet motorcycle entered the area of the checkpoint and one of the policemen put a brass nautical vintage whistle in his mouth and blew it harshly. When the whistle was blown, it created a sharp tone, unpleasant to most of the hearers standing nearby.
The traffic policeman went a little ahead, extending his hand to signal the biker on the Royal Enfield to stop and asked him to pull over.
