After the incident at the Hernandez's old house many people in Island's Inc. began to treat Adrianna very differently. In the past she wasn't even treated as if she was a member of the Hernandez family, many saw her as an inconsequential employee. However, after news of the Elisia Mall project was released almost all the employees started treating Adrianna differently.
Only the employees that were loyal to Fredrik and his children still looked down at Adrianna. With the contract signed Adrianna became even busier giving her less chances of spending time with Cedric.
With both Adrianna and Cedric extremely busy the weeks flew by. They had so much overtime that they would come home, exhausted. At one point Cedric was tempted to use his driver to take them home, but he eventually decided against it since it was one of the few times he and Adrianna spent alone.
