Its been two weeks since the competition. Ah.... everything was back to normal. After the episode with Crystal she didn't dare touch us anymore, we were all happy for Sophia as she won the competition. She really deserved it after all her hard work.
Our final exams we're around the corner and we've been studying non stop to ace them and finally move on to the next semester. Teachers have been seriously bombarding us with tests and assignments in order for us to be prepared for the upcoming exams. Things have been tough but there is nothing Katie Kent can't handle. I've been really busting my ass in this school and I believed I've changed for the better. I've started reading and I know stuff now, like how to find X in any given equation and some history about Adolf Hitler, Also Norwegian language too. This school is really something, even though the teacher can be tough, they do it for your best interest. Mr Antonio was right for sending me here.
Continuing our usual routine, we ate breakfast and headed for our various classes, on reaching my history class Sophia and Nora were already seated and they waved at me. Today I decided to sit with Liam so I got seated and then classes begun...
Mr. George wasn't in a good mood as always, he never smiled and was always strict but thank God I didn't get on his nerves today. I can't help but think that something was cooking and its going to taste very bitter for me. Classes ended after a long talk about the great world war II. The bell rung and we were about to leave when Mr George decided to address us.
"Class wait, I have an announcement" we sat down in order for us to listen and see if it was anything good for us.
"You all have an assignment coming up and it covers 30% of your CA. You don't want to ignore or fail this assignment. it is actually a riddle by the great professor Einstein. You should note it down, it is a little bit lengthy." Then we all sat down and brought out our notes for it.

No owners drink the same type of beverage or smoke the same brand of cegar or keep same type of pet.

it is due next week monday so you must turn in your assignments before or on monday. That is all, you may leave for your next class" he said and sat down.
What??
How are we supposed to know? Heck even the assistant to the head mistress doesn't know this one so how is a 10th grader gonna know? Our lives are ruined....
I heard gasps and confused/sad expressions on people's faces. I think they feel the same way I do, Even Sophia was worried. We left the class looking dejected and angry.
How could he do this to Us.....

Dinner
"I'm so sad right now I don't think I can eat anything on my plate" Nora said
"Me too" Kc added
"Why the hell would he do this to us?" Liam sighed
"I think its obvious he doesn't want us to pass" I said
"Heck you guys got the assignment too?" Christian joined the conversation
"Apparently, everybody got the assignment. Just look around you" Sophia suddenly said. That was when I noticed that the hall was a little bit quiet today. Although the seniors seemed to be having a great day, some of us could only manage but cheer up for dinner. While the rest of us just continued to wallow in sadness...
"This riddle means a lot to us, we can't afford not to do it. But the question is how?" I fidgeted trying to think of a way... Something... Anything that could help us.
"What are you guys so worried about" Maja came in, sitting and devouring her spaghetti and meatballs.
"We have a situation " Christian said and started to explain everything that happened in each and everyone of our history class
"Wow that dude is nuts" she said after bearing our story
"Tell me about it" Nora sighed
"Its obvious he wants you guys to not pass, I mean 30% wow. That's alot of marks for one assignment don't you think"
This time Liam answered her "we know but we have no choice"
"So what are you going to do? " she asked
Coming up with an idea I said "Well I can talk to Lily and ask her if she did the same thing to her class"
"That could help" Sophia said
"Meanwhile I would like to check out the library and see if there's anything we can add to the clues" she continued
"I'll come too" Liam said
"Me too"

"I guess everyone's in then" Sophia concluded "Maja would you help us? " she asked
"I don't mind " she answered
"Ok then!, so after dinner let's go to the library and see what we can find " I said.
"Yeah" they chorused
"For now let's finish dinner " kc said
Few hour later....
"You guys find anything?" I shouted
"No not yet" I heard Sophia say.
We are currently at the library and we have been searching for anything but nothing seems to be saying anything that links to the assignment. I can't help but feel that we are at a lost cause here.
"You guys find anything " I heard christian called
"Nope, nada, nothing, not yet" we're all the responses we gave him.
"I think we have done enough for one day, let's come back tomorrow. I'm feeling sleepy" kc said
"She's right, maybe tomorrow might be better, atleast we have until next monday to submit the assignment " Nora continued
"Its ok. You guys can go to bed, we will continue the search" Liam said
"Yeah guys go on"
"You sure you won't be offended that we left you? " Nora asked
"Its ok, you would do the same if it was opposite " I said
"Ok guys, bye" Nora said
"Get some rest, you still have classes tomorrow " kc said
"Byee" we waved them. And that was how we reduced to 5
We kept going for almost an hour until we all got tired and decided to hit the sack
Reaching my room, I layed down and just silently prayed that tomorrow would be better than today. We couldn't find anything in the library and that was frustrating enough. I just hope meeting Lily tomorrow would have a better outcome.
