Hello! Author here! The Solidest Fish himself!
First off, I want to thank everyone who's taken the time to read my work- when I first started writing, I had no idea what I was doing other than knowing that I had an idea for a (hopefully) good story. I've changed a lot with the plot and characters after writing that first chapter, but I hope that the story has evolved to become much more enjoyable to you, my readers!
As a reader myself, I know the stress of reading short chapters with very little substance- and I've tried my best to keep my chapters above the 2.5k range, with the longer ones reaching well into 3.5k words. After the chapters lock, I'll still keep the release schedule of one chapter every three days, but I will also be experimenting with releasing a chapter of around 1.5k words every day, just to see how I can handle it, as well as if that's preferable for you! After that happens, please leave a comment to let me know if you prefer longer chapters that take longer to put out or shorter ones.
Ahem, so, Premium. I hope that after reading the change in quality (hopefully they were good changes) that you'll understand that I will do my best to ensure that you have an enjoyable experience as a reader! It is my hope that the writing will only get even better as more time passes, and once again, I'd like to thank you all for reading my story- the beginning chapters were... not the best, I admit, but I am going back and editing those chapters when I can.
Anyways, the coin cost for locked chapters is set, and I can't actually set them myself.
Also, I've accumulated a few extra drafted chapters during my time writing (... not a lot, but hey, I tried) that I'll be editing before release and putting on premium. If you want to read ahead of everyone else, you can! I'll do my best to figure that system out before actually putting any chapters for premium, so nobody suffers by accident from reading my unedited drafts (different from locked chapters, which will occur following July 8th)
If the book gets enough support, I'll do my best to secure an editor to review and proofread the novel- right now it is just been me, not to say that I haven't loved working alone so far, because I've loved seeing the mistakes in my writings. It helps me know that I'm improving. With an editor, the tiny grammatical errors should decrease even further until they're essentially unnoticeable, which will hopefully make your reading experience even better.
And if you're a new reader who's reading this statement about how premium is going to work, then let me sincerely thank you for picking my book up! And allow me to apologize for the earlier chapters' grammatical and writing mistakes with an assurance that it DOES get better, around the thirty to forty chapter range (But that's writing quality and not plot direction, which is a whole different beast).
As always, I hope that you enjoy reading :D
