As I put in we lost my dad back in December and now were coming up on a year.
This has been a rough time and yes while we were on the streets it was hard its been tough.
If it weren't for God we wouldn't have made it through our time on the streets with dad as sick as he was and now if it weren't for God we wouldn't have made it almost a year since dad passed away.
We have had our ups and downs and we have had our bad days and our good recently its been harder than not but that's due to the holidays.
Speaking of the holidays please even in these tough times if you can spare change or anything to help those on the streets they would appreciate it.
I know that you tend to see them and wonder how many have chosen to be there but you can tell the ones that choose that life and those that had no choice like my family and I please don't turn a blind eye to them.
I want to thank all of you who have taken the time to read this book and if you ever find yourself in the kind of odds we did please remember that not every place is like here in Orlando in terms of help.
Some places do have better help and if they don't maybe we all need to find a way to fix these issues I couldn't get anyone that would listen to my story so I decided to get the story out.
My family and I wanted people to see what we went through and how we were able to stick together even when my dad passed we have all stuck together just the way we should as a family.
I do apologize that I drifted away from what I started with but I figured this should be put in for everyone to see I know just like I'm going to retell you the three different kinds of homeless well actually four of them here we go.
The first is the homeless who choose to be there they are the ones that do have money but choose to get things instead of having a roof over there heads and there happy the way they are.
The second one is homeless and in a car that's where they lost there home but own there car and have a place with a roof and are able to sleep there with all of there stuff.
The third one is homeless and having nothing but the stuff you were able to save and you have to carry it in a shopping cart and suite case and you end up sleeping on benches anywhere you can without getting in trouble.
The fourth and final one might fully shock one and all if you live in a extended stay hotel your still considered as homeless because your not in an apartment or house your in a hotel so your still homeless.
That is the list and the fourth one is where my mom brother and I are at and you know its not that bad because we have each other and above all God I can promise that you can always be just fine as long as you have family and God.
