It's morning at the Martin family stately home in Hudson. Dianna and Lea are in different blankets but on the same bed in Dianna's room. They are awake and staring at each other in silence. Their hair is long, black, and straight but unkempt, and Dianna is without her contact lenses, revealing her dark green eyes. Lea is wearing a red sleeping robe on top of her nightgown, while Dianna is wearing Superman pajamas.
Flashback.
The year is 2011. The Earth zooms in on Africa, Africa zooms to Nigeria, Nigeria zooms to Kaduna, and Kaduna zooms to a street in Gamma Road, revealing a two-story bungalow home. A beautiful backyard with a sun lounger and a sunshade on top it's such a perfect house for a small family.
Diane, the twin sister with braces on her teeth and reading glasses, sits on the couch in the living room. Tears stream down her face, and Cecilia, her gray-haired twin sister, sits right next to her, also crying helplessly. They watch the shadows of their father wrestle with their mom's silhouette in the kitchen.
He finishes boxing his wife to his satisfaction, and his tall shadow walks toward the girls, yelling at them to go to their room. They reach their room and continue crying as they help each other carefully remove their clothes, revealing belt marks all over their backs.
After pressing their wounds with hot water, they put on their sleeping clothes Cecilia wears her nightgown, and Diane wears her DC's Justice League pajamas. They lie on the same bed but under different blankets, pretending to be asleep as a short shadow peeps through the door and notices the girls are asleep.
DIANE:- mom, is that you? ( the shadow walked closer to them as Cecilia turn on her lamp to see their mother's face. she is in her early 30s. Her beautiful face and Ebony skin covered with Bruises. Her beautiful long black shining hair scattered and tangled. Her beautiful cat's eyes and well Structured nose are red and swollen).
MRS. MARTIN :-( her voice is too weak to speak Fluently) you girls should get some sleep. you both have school tomorrow. ( She tucked in their blankets well and tried to go but Cecilia held her hand )
CECILIA:- mom. please don't go sleep with him.
DIANE:- please sleep with us. ( Mrs. Martin nodded and laid on the same bed with her daughters as she rapped her bruised hands around them) mom tell us a story.
MRS. MARTIN:- ok then. are you ready? ( the girls nodded ) Once upon a time they was an orphan girl who fell love with a tall rich handsome man. they were in love and it was wonderful and then they got married. but after the marriage he was sleeping around and drinking with friends. whenever he comes home he shouts at her, forces her to bed. it didn't take long for her to discover that she married a mistake. she tried to leave him but it was too late. she was pregnant for him. she tried to abort but didn't work. the pregnancy didn't give up. that was when she knew she was making a mistake and God didn't want her to go through the abortion. The labor day came, he was nowhere to be found, the Neighbors help her to the hospital and she gave birth to two beautiful girls. one with gray hair (she kissed Cecilia on the head )and the other with dark green eyes (she also kissed Diane on the head ) she was so happy. not only because she had brought two angels to the world, but because the devil who calls himself their father wasn't there to steal her moment. ( an angry voice called her name ) I have to go.
CECILIA:- mom don't go...
MRS. MARTIN:- you know what will happen if I don't go. ( she stood up and walked towards the door)
DIANE:- mom. ( Mrs. Martin paused )
MRS. MARTIN:- yes my angel.
DIANE:- I swear to you that one day...I'm going to make dad pay for all this .
MRS. MARTIN:- don't say that. remember my child, he is still your father. so promise me girls, whenever you are angry at him , take a deep breath and walk away. promise me girls..(the girls nodded. Cecilia Switch off her lamp as she closed the door )

They both got up from the bed and walked to the bathroom. Both facing the mirror and Brushing their mouth. Lea then put a sliver ring through her nose.
DIANNA:- When did you pierced your nose and start dying your hair black ?
LEA:- The piercing?... well I just like it. And the hair is since I started going to Zeal academy. I didn't want people to think I'm some sort of evil spirit. (they both laughed ) so you are on Broadway?
DIANNA:-Yeah. The show is about you actually.
LEA:- (she raised an eyebrow ) really?
DIANNA:- Yes. ( She finished brushing and rinsed her mouth) but why did you do that to Tina'?... why would you do something so horrible to someone who loves you?
LEA:- ( she froze) it's complicated.
DIANNA:- complicated?! Cecilia, even though you don't love someone back, You Don't Treat Them That Way!. (Lea then finished brushing her mouth ) You don't treat them like they don't matter because, in their world, you matter more than one should.
LEA:- Don't lecture me Diane! you weren't even there.
DIANNA:- are you for real? ...I get to read your line every single rehearsal. I get to perform the way you Ruined someone's high school life. Tina' loved you. I see it in her eyes everytime we walk on the stage. you throw all that love away, for what? To get some damn prefectship.

LEA:- I heard that you are sick. It's quite stubborn of you to travel in your condition.
MR. MARTIN:- and how is that your business?
LEA:- oh believe me I don't care and quite frankly I'm disappointed at the fact that you are feeling better enough to have the strength to travel.

Nicholas! (He yelled ) Raheem! (nobody answered as Dianna Stared at him with annoyance) Roshni!!! (Still no answer) Where are all the Maids?
