Li na walked through the hallway with her books on her chest and entered the spacious classroom. there were only two boys in the class, she wondered why. she sat on her sit which was the second on the third row. she opened her locker and brought out a novel to read.....

"hey, little pumpkin, what's up. I know you're doing greater than me" she heard a voice say behind her.

who else would it be except for Ingrid.

"hi Ingrid, how's your day?" Li na said twisting her head to look at her with smiles all over her face which didn't take 2 seconds to fade.

"wat'cha doing, reading again I guess."

"you're right I'm reading a novel so please I need no disturbance"

"oooo romance?" Ingrid asked rubbing her palms together with a stupid grin and sitting on a chair beside Li na.

"kinda"

"what's the name?" she said collecting the book from my hand and looking at the front cover. "hmm.... I see, Love's rescue eh." she turned the book to see the back cover, then she read the summary of the book, the about the book and all that. "but why you reading an English book when you're Chinese. anyway, who cares. lend it to me for two days please".

"Ingrid, you know I'd never do that, so please" Li na said collecting the book from Ingrid forcefully.

"but why, I'm your friend, best friend in fact. you know you can count on me. I'll keep it like a baby please, just for two days"

"give me your brains Ingrid, why should I give you a book that I'm still reading?"

"alright, alright I understand. you can just give it to me when you're done reading it." Ingrid said with a scowl.

"don't worry Ingrid, I'm a very fast reader, you know that."

"please please please. I'm so eager to read it. I wanna read it now"

"OK, if that's the case, what if I give you when the school closes?"

"Alright, whatever you say. by the way, when are you gonna pay me a visit? you've been giving me excuses since the day I told you. it's not fair."

"Ingrid, whenever I go to another house apart from mine, I feel very uncomfortable"

"weird nerd" Ingrid said standing up to leave

"where are you going?"

"to sit, where else will I go, to the amazement park?" she said sarcastically.
