Author Pov
When the Hellhound members heard the talking, they scrambled to grab the bag that had their items then hid behind some trees or in Morgan's case climb a tree to hide (Author Note: they are out of their mission clothes, masks, and in the ones that they woke up in so if a team from Dramora finds them they won't find out what their mission clothes look like along with their masks) "You know why we have to because you decide it was a good idea to prank a teacher and somehow dragged the rest of us, your teammates into it when you got caught by the said teacher then got all of us sent to principal Ace." Kayda said to Mercy who just nodded looking around the area not listening which caused the Hellhounds to just look at one of their members who does the same thing when they are being reprimanded. Which caused Morgan to look down at them whispering "what?" sounding very confused, which caused all her members to share amused looks. They quickly turn away from each other to peek around the trees or look below in Morgan's case from where they were hiding, when they heard some shrubbery move, and out from them came five figures. "So, what's the plan then? How are we going to find them?" Mercy asks Kayda who says "We already discussed this did we not? Or were you not listing as usual when we all planned this? -" frustration alit in her tone before continuing pinching the bridge of her nose "*sigh* you know what never mind, Artemis you know what to d-" and before she could continue her sentence, Yuyu sensing that something was about to happen whispered calmly but urgently "Everyone, be careful something is coming, wait for my signal." which caused all Nova Heroes members ready to move but being very subtle just in case it was 'The Wolf Pack' sneak attacking knowing that Yuyu is never wrong with her gift. Morgan being the only one able to hear the whisper with her enhanced hearing knew immediately who was about to do something idiotic and before she could stop him, he was already launching himself into the air hulk style with one arm pulled back ready to hit the area The Nova Heroes are standing at, but he completely missed because of all the members of Nova Heroes moved out of the way after Yuyu gave them the signal to move. "Well, well looks like one of their members is getting ahead of themself girls." Light said teasingly towards Troy who created a large crater from where they were originally standing then the Nova Heroes members moved to surround him. "Troy you have got to be kidding me right now, you finally decide to act like yourself now that you're comfortable in this world. Which means trouble for all of us." Morgan whispers to herself before whistling quietly to the other Hellhounds who looked up and saw her motion to go help him before he gets his ass kicked because they knew next to nothing about these girls and what their gifts are. They nodded their heads to Morgan and proceeded to walk out from the trees they were hiding behind to give back up, while Morgan jumped from the tree, she was on and landing assassin creed style. "It seems your teammates decided to join us..." Kayda said looking at Troy and then the rest of the Hellhounds members with a smirk before dropping it for a serious expression and finishing her sentence "I'm only going to say it once come with us or we will be forced to drag you unconsciously to our school Dramora." looking in the eyes of all the Hellhounds members one by one like a predator ready to pounce. No one else said a word a tense atmosphere hit the area with everyone eyeing each other waiting for someone to make a move.
Then someone finally made a move and that person was Bella who raised her arms with her palms pointed upwards towards the sky saying "Vortex.", in her right palm was a white ball of light, and in her left palm was a ball of darkness. Bella then proceeded to move her arms in front of her mixing the two balls making a gray-like substance that put Nova Heroes members on their toes knowing that whatever she was doing wasn't good. While Bella's friends besides Morgan wherein complete shock by what she was doing because as far as they knew she did not know how to do this yet. Morgan just smiled knowing that Bella worked hard to open that chapter of the book to start mixing the dark and light sides of her gift than keep using them separately because what their friends hadn't known was that both Bella and Morgan got up in the middle of the night and trained because they are the leader and 2nd command of their group so they felt they had to train harder than the rest to be ready for anything.
Bella immediately forced her gift out towards The Nova Heroes Kamehameha style but was blocked by a random glowing light shield built around The Nova Heroes that immediately shatters on impact kicking up wind and knocking everyone back except for Morgan who was used to Bella's powerful attack transformed quickly into a Siberian tiger to stand her ground but not moving forward because she knew that it was not a smart idea so she waited for the wind to die down before transforming back and when she did she noticed a dust cloud that had been born so the other team had not seen her transformation. Turning to Bella, Morgan saw Bella looking at her shaking hands "Do you think it was a smart idea to use that attack you still don't have full control over?" Morgan asked out of concern for her sister in all but blood "*sigh* I'll be fine for now but I think it's best, for now, to not use that attack again in a real fight until it's completely under control." Bella said answering Morgan putting her concern at ease.
The Nova Heroes members on the other side of the dust cloud not knowing what was happening on the other side could only look at each other in shock because they knew if not for Light putting up her light shield, they would have been knocked out or worse badly injured from that attack. Yuyu shook her head quickly to get rid of the shock and the only thing she had to say was "You have got to be shitting me, no one except for Quantum has been able to break your light shield, Light." dumbfounded with what had just transpired which knocked her teammates out of their stupor. "So who is going to fight who since some of us have to fight two of them each because there are seven of them and five of us?" Kayda said raising an eyebrow. Light stepped up and said "I'll fight the female that just shot the gray-like substance at us and the tall dude with spiked-up black hair." with a cautious look towards the dust cloud. "Okay, I'll fight the short dirty blond-haired girl that seems to be the leader because she didn't look shocked about the power of that attack." Kayda said with narrowed eyes pointing towards the dust cloud like she could see Morgan (Author note: the reason they are looking at the dust cloud was that team Hellhounds are on the opposite side of them). "I'll fight the black-haired dude that looks like a twig and the tall dirty blond-haired dude that reminds me of a polar bear." Yuyu said with a smirk directed towards the dust cloud knowing it would be an interesting battle for them all. "I'll fight the dude with a revolver in his hand that has a spade on it." Artemis said with a very serious expression pointing towards the dust cloud. "And last but not least I'll fight the guy with the bun." Mercy said with a cheerful expression "Welp if that's who we're going to fight let's get to it and Light, Yuyu you girls especially be careful because you girls have to fight two people. We also don't know their gifts except for the one that Yuyu called a polar bear since it seems he has a strength gift like Quantum. Fighting girls." Kayda said and after the serious talk she put her hand in the middle and the rest of them followed putting their hands on top of hers, all of them saying "fighting!" then they all turned towards the dust cloud that was starting to fade slightly "Are you girls thinking what I'm thinking?" Yuyu asked raising an eyebrow and tilting her head slightly towards the dust cloud which caused all the girls to share a smirk before getting in a running position and all sprinting to surprise the Hellhounds on the other side.
~On the other side of the dust cloud a little before The Nova Heroes runs towards the dust cloud~
"So, are we just going to stand here or leave the area as quickly as we can?" Troy asked as if he has brought up a smart idea "No we can't because we don't know what their gifts are which could spell danger in the long run if they can somehow track our trail. Also, just letting you know now that there is going to be dire consequences for just jumping in without thinking or giving us a signal of what you were doing, you dunce" Bella said in annoyance and a scolding tone while Morgan was behind her nodding her head in agreement and the others were talking to each other but Morgan's focus was on the dust cloud that was starting to dissipate where the other team is at trying to hear them with, her sensitive hearing but with all the talking she couldn't focus for shit except for them talking "Guys could you quiet down I'm trying to hear if they are coming or not so zip your lips and Bella you can scold Mr. polar bear later when we're out of danger zone got it okay." and just as Morgan had said that everyone quieted down and when they did that, she heard a thudding sound headed towards them. Thinking quickly Morgan shouted "Scatter!!" to her team knowing it wouldn't be good to be so close to each other when fighting. When her friends heard that they quickly moved to separate areas. Now that the Hellhounds separated a good distance away from each other except for a few like Bella and Chandler near each other since Chandler had a feeling that Bella would need some help from that powerful attack, she did with her gift weakened her a good bit, and Troy and Jacob near each other since Jacob knew that Troy would get his ass handed to him if he didn't help him.
Suddenly, The Nova Heroes, burst out from the dust cloud skidding to a stop. Kayda just looked around at everyone and just smirked saying "Found our targets, girls, it seems that they didn't leave the area immediately as I had first initially thought. Let's get them, girls." after that last sentence was said they ran at full speed towards their targets.

Kayda vs Loki (Morgan)
Kayda reached where Morgan was standing, at full speed. Morgan seeing her coming in so quickly put her on edge, so she readied herself for a hard battle. Kayda raised a fist pulling it back for a quick attack which Morgan blocked as best she could, Morgan quickly brought up her leg and kicked Kayda in the stomach sending Kayda skidding back a few inches. "Hmmm...Maybe this will actually be a good fight." Kayda said smirking trying to antagonize Morgan but Kayda's smirk quickly turned into a frown when Morgan just looked at her like it didn't even phase her. Kayda pulled out her sword from her back before quickly launching herself towards Morgan once more, Morgan knowing it would be dangerous to get hit by the sword shapeshifted herself into a cardinal dodging the attack then shapeshifting back into a human 'I need to find a way to rid her of that weapon but, there could be some weird enchantment that will teleport that weapon to her at a certain time since we are in an unknown world that we don't know a lot of.' Morgan thought quickly while dodging an attack from Kayda. Kayda getting tired of Morgan dodging yelled "Fight me!! Quit dodging like a coward!!" then jumped back changing her sword into a gun firing shots at Morgan whose eyes widened before panicking dodging but still getting grazed by the bullets "Why does that even have to be a weapon!!!" Morgan screeched in panic floundering around like a fish on land and while she was doing that, she was planning her next move because she knew that the gun would run out of bullets at any point 'Okay calm down Morgan yes some of the bullets scrapped me a little I'm not bleeding out at all I need a plan to get that weapon away from her even for a little bit. Hmm...Yes, that plan could work.' Morgan thought and got ready to make the move the second the gun ran out of bullets. Kayda's gun ran out of bullets cursing to herself quietly because she knew that she wouldn't have enough time to refill it, so she quickly put it in sword form, she did just in time because when Morgan saw she wasn't shooting at her anymore 'Perfect timing.' Morgan thought before she quickly moved towards Kayda turning her arms a gray color of a rhinoceros, so her arms have extra protection to play her plan out. When she reached Kayda who couldn't see what color her arms have become because of her long gloves covering them, Morgan pulled one of her arms back a bit and then moved it forward towards Kayda in a fake out move which caused Kayda to move her left arm to block loosening her grip unconsciously on the sword in her right hand and when Morgan saw that she moved her left arm swiftly to grab the sword by the blade only slicing the palm of her glove when she grabbed the blade quickly tearing it out of Kayda's grip. Morgan backed up quickly with the sword in hand, Kayda saw the sword in Morgan's hand causing Kayda to look down at her right hand that was holding the sword. 'Oh, you have got to be fucking kidding me?!!' Kayda thought in disbelief when she witnessed Morgan throwing/Yeeting Kayda's sword away from them both into the forest 'Great now I'm going to have to wait for my sword to teleport back to me but that could take a while depending on how far she threw it.' Kayda thought to herself with a pissed expression. When Morgan saw Kayda's face she couldn't stop herself from saying, "It seems you're pissed is it your time of the month?" with mischievousness in her eyes trying to get a reaction out of Kayda. When Morgan said that it caused Kayda to lose her cool rushing toward Morgan jumping into the air while shapeshifting into a dragon raising her claw trying to swipe at Morgan; and in her shock, Morgan barely dodges getting some of her hair cut.
"You can shapeshift into a dragon no fair man." Morgan whined feeling that it was unfair that Kayda could do that. Kayda just snarled at Morgan who dropped her joking nature when she saw Kayda's eyes held no human presence just an animalistic presence to it "So this is what happens when you make a shapeshifter mad, they lose control to their animal side that they transform into. I'll need to remember that so I can try to control my temper the best that I can before I shapeshift into anything Why does that dragon, she turned into look familiar to me?" Morgan muttered to herself watching Kayda carefully not knowing what her dragon form can do yet, then that's when it hit her Kayda looked like a night fury but was a white version of it "Oh shit she's a light fury, welp let's hope that she is not OP like toothless is in how to train your dragon." Morgan whispered to herself on edge and eyes widened in shock now knowing what type of dragon Kayda was, then Morgan heard a strange noise which broke her of her shock, focusing on where the noise was coming from Morgan saw it was from 'Kayda' who had her mouth open with this strange purple glow in it that was then shot at Morgan. "OH SHIT!!" Morgan yelled barely moving out of the way of the attack when the attack hit the area, she was originally at a huge explosion blew up the area causing the ground to shoot out hitting Morgan in the face and cutting her through her eyebrow, there was a crater with an outline of fire surrounding it. Morgan wiped her sleeve on her eyebrow to wipe away the blood so it wouldn't go in her eye; when Morgan saw the crater all she said is "Yep, she is definitely OP as Toothless." with a deadpanned look before looking at where 'Kayda' was at but she wasn't there "Oh crap where did she go? Oh, wait she's a dragon they can fly...Well, most dragons can fly anyways." Morgan said in slight panic before calming down. When Morgan had fully calmed down, she heard the flapping of wings and when she looked up, she saw 'Kayda' dive bombing down towards her; Morgan shapeshifted into an elephant letting 'Kayda' hit her on the back, and when she did that it stunned 'Kayda' long enough for Morgan to grab her with her trunk slamming her into the ground knocking her out and when she did that 'Kayda' transformed back into her human form and the sword that Morgan threw showed up right next to Kayda's knocked out a form. "Welp, glad that was over before I got really injured. She really won't be okay when she wakes up, she'll have a killer headache or a concussion one of the two and luckily she doesn't have to search for her sword when she wakes up." Morgan said when she shapeshifted back into a human stretching her arms and then ripping a piece of her shirt to hold at her cut eyebrow to keep the blood out of her eye then sitting down to watch how the rest of her member's battles are going.
Light vs The Majestic Traveler or Tmt for short (Chandler) and Phantom Spectra (Bella)
Light looked at Chandler and Bella with caution especially Bella considering the spell she just pulled. Chandler just looked at Bella concerned wanting to say something knowing that she must be exhausted from her previous spell, but he could see the determination in her eyes to continue to fight it out even if it causes her to faint from using all her magic so all he said was "You ready for this fight Bells." to Bella who was on his left who only said "I was born ready bro." getting a chuckle out of him. "Are you done talking or are you ready to fight?" Light said raising an eyebrow, Bella just looked at Light saying, "Well that's what we're here for isn't it miss Bright light." with strong sarcasm in her tone and Light muttered to herself "Oh god Jihyo not another sarcastic person I can't handle any more of them." and because she was distracted, she didn't see chandler summon an anvil in the sky to drop on her. Light heard a noise from the sky she jumped away from the area that she was standing at seeing an anvil take her spot, shocked she yelled "Where the duck did that come from." Chandler raised his hand causing Bella to slap her forehead saying "Pabo don't tell her it was you." in disbelief at how idiotic her friend can be. Chandler was about to say something but was forced to dodge an attack from light who was wielding a sword "Bella why does this sword look like Excalibur from SAO but the white version of it?" Chandler asked Bella sounding shocked "That's her power Chan being able to summon any weapon or build from what we've seen so far kind of like yours." pushing her glasses up like an anime character. Chandler hummed in agreement before summoning another anvil in the sky, but all Light did was summon a hard light shield to block the anvil then summoned a gun and shot at Chandler and before it could hit its mark Bella quickly said "Hogo no tate (Japanese means Shield of protection)." Pointing straight at Chandler then yelling at chandler the second the shield took the hit for him to throw down a stun at Light "Got it, boss." Chandler said before throwing 3 stuns at Light and before she could move it went off stunning her.
Bella made a hand movement to Chandler to her when he ran up to her "What is it?" He asked puzzled on why Bella wanted him over to her which she answered with "I Need you to distract her so I can use Vortex again." with determination but he was concerned with the amount of magic she's already used he knew that she would pass out so he voiced out his thought "Bella you using that move again will most definitely cause you to pass out." Bella just looked at him with a serious expression daring him to argue so he backed down knowing that it was a losing battle knowing that she would do it anyway. Putting his hands up in surrender Chandler said, "Fine I'll do it, but you know the others are going to be pissed about this right?" pointing out the consequence of her plan "Yeah well, they'll live with it, it's my decision." Bella said quickly knowing that with her growing tired knew that if they didn't beat Light quickly, they will lose. They shared a look of determination before looking at Light that was shaking her head to get rid of the dots in her eyesight.
Chandler quickly moved towards Light summoning a ball and throwing it which hit her in the head. "Did you just really throw a ball at me?" Light asked puzzled glaring at him "Yeah and what are you going to do about it?" Chandler fired back but immediately regretted it because Light summoned a mallet that strangely looks like Amy's mallet from sonic the hedgehog. Panicking Chandler accidentally summoned a fishing rod causing him to just look at it then looked at Light that started to laugh hysterically at him "Pfft are you serious is that what you're going to fight with?" which caused him to just look at her and smile mysteriously at her. While Chandler was distracting Light, he and Light didn't see Bella drink a magic regen potion which caused her eyes to glow red raising her arms in front of her 'Don't miss please.' Bella pleaded in her head before saying "Vortex." the attack went towards the area that Light and Chandler. Chandler sees the attack coming toward him and Light threw an ice grenade at Light's feet then jumped back before it exploded on him too. When Light went to follow him seeing the attack coming towards her, she felt herself jerk trying to move her legs and when she looked down, she saw her feet were frozen looking up quickly she knew that she wouldn't have much time to escape so she threw up two hard light shields hoping that it was enough to take the attack. When the attack reached her first hard light, the shield broke immediately and her 2nd one started to crack when that one broke too the attack almost reached Light, she held up her arms to give some protection. When it hit Light a small dust cloud surrounded her quickly Chandler and Bella walked to Light when the dust cloud dissipated, when they got to her, they saw her on the ground gravely injured but awake thinking quickly before Light died Bella crouched next to her then touched her shoulder saying "Gochida (Korean means Heal)." putting the rest of her magic into healing Light who was staring at her weirdly 'Why...why is she healing me, we are enemies right now she should want me dead. Is it because she doesn't want to kill anyone?' Light's last thought before finally passing out from the pain. Bella finished healing Light stood up almost falling looked straight at Chandler who looked concerned "I'm okay." Bella slurred out before straight-up fainting and collapsing but before she hit the floor Chandler caught her and picked her up firefighter style carrying her to Morgan who just looked at Bella's fainted body and then at Chandler with a deadpanned expression "She fainted from using too much magic didn't she." is all Morgan said to Chandler who just sighed and just gave Morgan a look and that was all the answer she needed "*sigh*Just place her here we'll have troy carry her to get away from this area." Morgan said to Chandler who did exactly that then he sat down next to Bella's knocked-out body.
Yuyu vs Juggernaut (Troy) and The Voiceless Master or Tvm for short (Jacob)
"So, want to be the ragdoll Troy or Nah?" Jacob casually says to Troy who just give him a look of wtf says "And why would I do that?" and before Jacob can give him a sarcastic answer Yuyu comes out of nowhere drop-kicking Troy in the chest causing him to fall backward and fall flat on his back, eyes wide open feeling that his life just flashed before his eyes. Jacob backed up not wanting to be the next one to be drop-kicked 'Troy can have fun with that while I'll just watch him get his ass kicked for a little bit before I come in to help.' Jacob thought wishing he had popcorn because he had a feeling Troy was going to say something that would offend the girl, they were fighting.
Troy jumped up to finally see what had hit him in the chest "A small girl is the one to knock me flat on my back." Troy said sounding out his disbelief triggering Yuyu causing her to glare at him "Is that an insult you brainless polar bear!" Yuyu said raising her voice slightly causing Troy to flinch because he has a feeling, he just pissed off the wrong female 'Oh god not another female that I've pissed off please don't be like another Morgan and Bella. Also, where the hell is Jacob isn't he supposed to help me in this fight?' Troy thought not realizing that not saying anything to save himself just made him dig a deeper hole for himself. "That's it, the gloves are off you are officially going to return to the school in a coma." Yuyu said pulling out her short sword while moving towards Troy with the intent to beat the living hell out of him "Wait what...sorry I completely blank out on you." Troy said trying to distract Yuyu so he can do a surprise attack and Yuyu fell for it because what Troy had said had officially pissed her off more causing an Oni mask to float behind her but since Troy has been glared at so many times even before he met Bella and Morgan, he's just become dead to it. Before Yuyu could make a move, she sensed danger coming to her, so she dodged the surprise attack that Troy tried to do "Nice try but epic fail on your part." Yuyu said tauntingly to Troy which caused him to start to become angry.
Jacob just continued to watch what was happening with Troy and the girl he was fighting 'This is so much more amusing than the time when we all got in a fight with these guys at the mall when we all met up to hang out. The guys trying to start some shit with all of us causing them to get beat the hell up and the rest of us running from the mall cops.' he thought trying not to laugh but when he heard what Yuyu said to Troy, Jacob knew it would not be good continue sitting out to watch troy put his foot in his mouth 'Yep time to go save the girl from dying from hulk smash Troy.' and before Jacob could go do that Troy moved fast trying to hit Yuyu who kept dodging the attacks taunting Troy, but she kept on landing hits on Troy causing his clothes to have tears and his skin to have small cuts that are bleeding. "Come on you can do better than that can't you? I also thought you would be smarter by now to know what my gift is you, dunce." Yuyu said continuing to taunt Troy who was becoming frustrated from not landing a hit on Yuyu.
When she said that, it struck Jacob what her gift could be 'She kept on dodging Troy's attacks which aren't that slow to be completely honest and it's like she knows when he is going to attack so she is always ready to dodge. Wait that's it maybe she has some type of sixth sense like spiderman with his spider senses for sensing danger.' Jacob thought having a big brain moment for the first time in forever then he got an idea on how to end the fight, so he put his plan in motion. The first thing Jacob did was use his telepathy to contact Troy. 'Troy!! Listen up I have a plan but the only way I can do it is if you keep on doing what you're doing.' Jacob said to him via telepathy 'Where the hell have you been!! You're so going to get it when we finish this battle and fine, I'll listen to you just this once.' Troy said back to him in his thoughts. Troy started to play his part in the plan going at Yuyu more aggressively than he had been doing Yuyu just kept on dodging and taunting him, but Troy tried to keep calm.
Yuyu was paying so much attention to Troy that she had completely forgotten that she was fighting two different people, mainly the reason she had forgotten about Jacob was that Troy had made her so pissed at him that she got tunnel vision. The Next thing that would happen she would never forget and would learn to never make the same mistake again as long as she lived.
When Jacob saw that Troy was doing his job, he got ready for what he was about to do and he knew he was going to get punched for not doing it sooner. "Let's finish this before Troy gets too hurt." and right as Jacob had just said that Yuyu put her short sword away then brought out her trench knives for close combat then rushing toward jumping in the air with her trench knives above her head ready to strike Troy but before her attack hit Troy who raised his arms to block the attack as best as he can then she was suddenly stopped in the air. When Troy peeked over his arms and saw that Yuyu was suspended in the air, Troy then proceeded to look over to his right giving Jacob "YOU COULD DO THIS THE ENTIRE TIME YOU ASSHOLE!!" Troy screamed at Jacob who just awkwardly smiled at Troy who looked ready to clobber him. Jacob quickly raised Yuyu and then slammed her down on the ground knocking her out when he saw in the corner of his eye about to throw her trench knives at him and Troy.
"*Fake cough* I will take a battle against you without using my gifts next practice as my punishment." Jacob said to appease him before Troy could beat him up causing Troy to start to smirk and laugh evilly "*still laughing evilly like a villain* You got a deal." Troy said shaking Jacob's hand who feels like he just made the deal with the devil. They then both walked to where the other that finished their fights are finished and they both saw a wounded Morgan, and an unconscious Bella, and a scuffed-up Chandler. "So what happened to you guys and why is Bella unconscious?" Troy asked both Chandler and Morgan "Oh Bella used too much magic and I had a fight with an enraged dragon shifter." this is all that Morgan said to them. "Okay while it is concerning that Bella is out of commission right now so if any of us are badly injured, we will have to suck it up because I'm pretty sure Octo doesn't have any healing spells as far as I know and you got to fight a dragon shifter no fair." Jacob said whining about the last thing until he heard Morgan say "She was basically like toothless from how to train your dragon but she was a light fury so does it look like I had any fun with that horror?" causing him to really look at her seeing her have a cloth wrapped around her head, blood on her shirt, dirt, tiny rips in her clothes and shallow cuts on her skin "Sorry Morgan didn't mean to sound insensitive." Jacob said apologizing for what he had said. Morgan just sighed knowing that he didn't mean to sound insensitive "It's fine just watch what you say okay." she said to him before turning to Troy which startled him a little thinking, he was going to be reprimed for not controlling his anger since she could see the whole fight "Troy you're going to have to carry Bella until she wakes up and maybe Octo knowing him, he'll almost deplete all his magic as well." which Troy just gave her a salute showing that he heard her loud and clear then Jacob and Troy sat next to Chandler waiting for Caleb and Octavian to finish their fights.
Artemis vs Marksman (Caleb) (Caleb's revolver looks like Cayde-6 revolver but with a golden spade did this in honor of him being my favorite character in Destiny)
Caleb quickly moved his gun up pointing it at Artemis and firing multiple shots at her. Cursing softly Artemis quickly rolled out of the way of the bullets while pulling out a throwing knife and chucking it at Caleb with high precision, the throwing knife speeding towards Caleb who just moved his revolver in the way of the knife letting it take the hit sending the knife flying into another direction. Artemis stood up quickly taking out three more throwing knives "So we're not going to smack talk whatsoever?" Artemis said sounding confused about why he wasn't doing what most guys do at the school "What's there to smack talk about we are just going to fight then one of us is going to be the victor for this fight?" Caleb said to her and she just nodded in agreement then she threw her three throwing knives in the direction of Caleb who dodged to the side letting the knives hit the ground. 'Hmm...So we are both long combat to mid but what if I get in close suddenly?' Caleb thought then moved quickly to get into Artemis's space which caught her off guard and before she could defend herself Caleb dropped his gun to his other hand then punched the side of Artemis's head breaking her skin and causing it to start bleeding, she moved backward quickly holding the side of her head to get away from Caleb before he could do any more damage to her head. 'Yeah, let's not take a hit to the head like that again I would really not like to have a concussion.' Artemis thought Caleb seeing her distracted raised his gun and fired a round but it completely missed its mark when the round was fired it startled Artemis because she was lost in thought causing her to drop to the ground yelping, eyes squeezed shut with tears welling up, and her holding her head tilting her head downwards. When Caleb saw her freak out, he unconsciously went to calm her down but before he could get any closer to her, she suddenly raised her head and glared at Caleb causing him to stop in his tracks with his right hand raised, Artemis seeing him freeze up grabbed his right hand from sitting position and doing a shoulder throw (what it is: the most popular technique in judo. If you drop one or both knees onto the mat before throwing your opponent, the move is called a seoi otoshi (shoulder drop).
When Artemis did this she caught Caleb off guard when he suddenly saw the sky and the top of the trees then hitting the ground knocking the air out of his lungs, dropping his gun that was in his left hand, and feeling intense pain in his right shoulder. Caleb's vision started to fuzz up from the intense pain in his right shoulder, his vision was so blurred from the pain he didn't realize that Artemis had let his arm go standing back up she moves closer to his laying form she took off her bow raising it above her head to knock Caleb out but right when she went to hit him in the head his vision had cleared just in time for him to see a bow coming down to strike him in the head, he rolled out of the way of the attack jumping to his feet holding his right shoulder. "Did you just try to knock me out via bow to the head?" Caleb asked in disbelief at what had almost just transpired "Uhmm...maybe or maybe not?" Artemis said sounding more like a question than an answer and moving her eyes back and forth not looking at Caleb before quickly raising her bow pointing it at Caleb then reaching behind her back for an arrow from her quiver. Caleb seeing this quickly resummons his revolver but instead of the rubber bullets that he had been using in his gun, it had tranquilizer bullets that would knock someone out for an hour depending on how many you shoot them with. Raising his gun Caleb quickly shot a round at Artemis while barely dodging the arrow that was headed towards him, the bullet made contact with Artemis's left shoulder almost hitting her bow in the process, the second the bullet hits her she can feel something wasn't right with the bullet that had just pierced her skin, aside from it hurting like a bitch.
Soon Artemis notices her vision going blurry, her stumbling around like a drunk, having trouble holding her weapon, trying to stand up "W-what did you shoot me with?" Artemis said her words slurring and starting to lose consciousness "Oh I shot you with a tranquilizer bullet but don't worry it won't kill you it'll just knock you out for an hour since I only shot you with one bullet." Caleb explained to her before she completely lost consciousness. Caleb then walked to where his teammates were waiting. "Woah what happened to your arm, Caleb?" Jacob said concerned noticing Caleb first, his comment catching everyone's attention "Oh it got dislocated I'll just have Troy push it back in later." Caleb said answering "Yeah that's not going to happen because he could reset it wrong and Bella won't be able to heal you if, he does set it wrong since she is knocked out from using all her magic up. Let's just wait till we reached Knightspire then find a doctor to heal you." Morgan told Caleb since she has a feeling that Troy has never reset a dislocated shoulder "Yeah let's not let my fucked up shoulder become more fucked up." Caleb said agreeing with Morgan, moving behind Morgan to stand instead of sitting since Octavian is almost done with his fight. Morgan seeing this followed his movement standing up as well catching the others aside from Bella's attention "Why are you standing up Morgan, Caleb?" Troy asked them both not realizing his other teammates went to stand up as well "Really Troy do you not notice that Octo is almost done with his battle?" Chandler said in disbelief at how dense his friend is sometimes "Okay, okay I get it." Troy said standing up putting Bella on his shoulder firefighter style ready to move out at any moment. "Oh, before I forget let me tie your arm up so it doesn't jostle around when we start to leave." Morgan said ripping parts of her outfit helping Caleb tie his arm up in a sling "Thanks Morgan." is all Caleb said before they both fell silent again.
Mercy vs Magis (Octavian)
Octavian watched Mercy come closer to his area he was muttering under his breath so low that even if shapeshifters were near him, they wouldn't be able to hear him with their sensitive hearing. "Is that a Bo staff on her back? How is she not hitting the back of her head on it while running?" Octavian said out loud to himself stupefied by what he was watching and Morgan with her sensitive hearing heard what he had said causing her to start chuckling. Mercy pulled her Bo staff from her back raising it to swing it at Octavian who wasn't expecting the swing and got fully hit in the stomach "Ooof!! Mother fucker that hurts like a bitch god that's like Bella and Morgan not holding back their punches." Octavian said slightly bent into his stomach having his arms wrapped around it tightly "Oh sorry!! Wait I'm not supposed to apologize to the capture targets." Mercy said but what she didn't know is because she got detracted from talking to herself Octavin started to quietly say "Hinote (Author note: This literally means fire hands in Japanese lol)" which is a spell that lights his hands on fire and before Mercy noticed he got in a boxer stance and jabbed his hand towards her stomach and because she wasn't paying attention at that moment, she got hit full force "Ooooof!!!" is all she said because the force sent her skidding backward her shirt having burn marks on it. Mercy holding her stomach with one arm pointed her Bo staff towards Octavian yelling "Cheap shot dude!!" to which Octavian replied, "All's fair in love and war girl." cutting off his spell and getting back into a boxer stance and Mercy got into a horse stance (what it is: As if you were riding a horse, imagine you are in the saddle. Legs are in a perfect line, past shoulder width, knees bent, legs almost parallel to the floor, back is straight, head forward.) with her Bo staff moving forwards she goes for an Overhead rib strike (What this move is: Starting in a horse stance, bring arms up over the head, and finish by swinging the front tip of the Bo across, slamming the opposite end of the Bo into your own rib.) straight towards Octavian's ribs which were block by Octavian's arms. Mercy seeing that her attack was blocked moved her Bo staff downwards for an uppercut which made contact with Octavian's chin causing him to stumble back holding his mouth and tasting blood and before he could bring his arms back up Mercy moved in quickly not giving him an inch to protect himself for a 4 point strike (What it is: A simple up-down, side-to-side motion. Make sure all strikes hit the same spot, and keep the elbows up parallel to the ground, maintaining a strong long front stance.) to his chest making him lean forwards wheezing out the air that was in his lunges and spitting out the blood from his mouth.
'Shit this hurts but I just need to distract her a little bit more and keep her thinking She's winning until she walks right into my trap.' Octavian thought wincing in pain quickly moving out of the way of another attack from Mercy that was towards the head 'Just a hit to the head and that should knock him out hopefully.' Mercy thought trying to end the fight before Octavian could say another spell. Octavian started to move backward trying to lead Mercy into his trap and Mercy not knowing it was a trap followed willingly trying to stop him from getting too far from her, Mercy goes for a front thrust (What it is: Bring up your front knee, draw back the Bo all the way in a straight line behind you, then step out into a deep long front stance and thrust the tip of the Bo into the target. You will land in a powerful stance, back is straight, elbow up, tip thrusted.) which Octavian dodges to the right then pivots backward raising his hand and saying "Augue (Latin for Fireball)." firing it at where Mercy is but she dodges to the right, when she went to the right to dodge the ground gave way dropping her about 13-foot drop landing into the water swimming up quickly coughing up because the unexpected drop into the water knocked the air out of her. Octavian puts his hands on his hips, spits out the blood that built up in his mouth, then tilts his head up towards the sky breathing deeply before moving towards the hole that's holding Mercy, looking over the edge he saw that there was water at the bottom with Mercy struggling to swim. Octavian acts quickly before she grows too tired and ends up drowning Octavian raises his hand and says "Tabula Patram (Latin means rock slab)" picturing the rock slab coming out of the wall right on top of the water Mercy who saw the slab come out of the wall immediately swam to it pulling herself up and laid on her back like a starfish breathing heavily, she yelled to Octavian "When did you even have the time to even do this?" confusion set aflame in her tone "In the very beginning of our fight I was muttering a spell before you reached me." he yelled down to Mercy answering her question. "Welp this was nice and all but I'm just going to go sooo...-" Octavian said to himself then started to walk to where his other teammates were sitting before stopping and turning around to where the hole was at pointing his hand at it saying "-Oh, wait before I go Terra Carcerem (Latin means Earth Prison)" pointing two fingers upwards.
Mercy was so exhausted that she didn't even hear Octavian say anything else as she was starting to fall asleep, she felt the rock slab shake then shoot her upwards causing her to scream and when it stopped, she sat up and looked around to see that she was in some prison and that the hole/trap she fell in was closed up. "Thanks for bringing me back up I really didn't know how long it would take before my teammates would come to get me." Mercy said smiling like she hadn't just lost the battle "Yeah no problem." Octavian said to her a little weirded out 'Now she really reminds me of Morgan when we were in our world, she was all smiles and stuff until you made her mad then all hell would break loose.' he thought to himself before walking away towards his teammates and he almost collapsed but was caught by Troy then was picked up put on Troys other shoulder looking at Morgan saying "You and Bella have a lot of explaining to do to all of us you know that right." Morgan just turned to him and softly smiled and said "Yeah I know dude, I know." then after that, he fell asleep from almost using up all his magic.
~After the battles~
Authors pov
"Okay let's get moving quickly before they wake up." Morgan said to her friends that have not been knocked out. They then all moved quickly Morgan grabs the bag that had all their items that she had put behind the tree when they heard a noise they left as fast as they could to get away from The Nova Heroes before certain members woke up and tried to fight them some more. Team Hellhounds continued to run through the forest till they burst out of the tree line reaching a dirt road causing them to stop since they didn't know which way to go thinking quickly Morgan pulled out her phone and checked the map which said to take a left to continue to Knightspire "It says to take a left to reach Knightspire." Morgan said to her members while turning left and then breaking into a full sprint leaving her friends in the dust "H-hey wait for us!!" Jacob yelled panicking seeing Morgan running farther away from them causing him to scramble after her with the rest following after them. They all stayed sprinting for a good while because they saw Morgan still running at full speed not stopping at all "Can you slow down a little it's a little hard to hold Octo and Bella while running!" Troy yelled at Morgan while struggling to not drop Octo and Bella while he was running, Not skipping a beat Morgan yelled back at Troy "Would you rather be caught by them when they finally wake up or finally reach/ get close to Knightspire before they find out where we went?" and before Troy can say anything back at Morgan, they saw a speck starting to get bigger. "Is that Knightspire?" Chandler breathlessly said in hope that they are coming closer to their destination, he started to run fast now only a little bit behind Morgan who just continued to run.
~An Hour later~
Chandler turned his head to look at the other and saw that Caleb, Troy, and Jacob were starting to slow down "Morgan should we take a break since we are halfway there since we have been running for an hour?" Chandler suggested while breathing heavily and sweating a lot. All Morgan did was slow down showing that she had heard what Chandler had said before stopping completely "Okay we'll rest for 5 minutes then continue okay." Morgan said leaving no room for argument "Got it Boss!" they all said at the same time and before they could argue they heard a groan coming from Octavian who had fallen asleep the second he had finished talking to Morgan "ugh why does my stomach hurt it feels like I got hit in the stomach a ton?" Octavian said not remembering that Troy had been carrying him on his shoulder "That would be because you were carried by Troy." Jacob said answering filling in the blank in Octavian's memories "Ah." is all that Octavian said before passing out again "He must still have magic exhaustion if he passed out again." Morgan deadpanned to the others "Yeah seems so." Troy said in agreement. They continued their break drinking from their water bottles and sitting on the floor and before long it comes to an end everyone stands back up putting their water bottles away in the bag which Morgan picks back up ready to carry it again "How's your arm holding up it's not jostling around too much is it?" Morgan asked worried that his arm may be really bothering him "Nah it's still good the sling is helping a lot really." Caleb said to Morgan which gave her a sense of relief "Okay then if you say so." Morgan said with a smile then started running again but this time everyone was ready for when she did this so they were right behind her with her leading them to Knightspire.
