Lucien
I can feel the touch of cold breeze on my face. What month is it anyway? It feels like the christmas season is already approaching. If only I could see all those pretty lights and happy faces of people who sing Christmas carols on the streets.
"What date is it today?" I asked Vale. It took him a minute before he answered my question.
"It's the 31st of August, why did you ask?" He responded. He turned the radio on. It's kind of our hobby.
"The wind is cold though." I answered. He did not bother to respond anymore, maybe he's busy. Who knows?
"According to the police, a man wearing a jigsaw mask was seen on the death scene of the popular actress Selene Monteverde." I was shocked when I heard the news on the radio. What just happened? Selene and I were very close. I can't believe it.
"What the fuck?" Vale said with a really terrified voice.
"They're back." He whispered but I heard him though. I'm confused, who's back? I can't think straight right now.
"What are you talking about, Vale? Who's back?" I asked as my curiosity is trying to kill me.
"Huh? I did not say anything. Sleep now, we're going at Selene's funeral tomorrow." He obviously ignored my question, wow. Last time, he just said something that confused me and now he did it again.
I tried to sleep as soon as I can.
"Wake up! Wake up, Lucien!" My eyes suddenly opened and I can feel the shortness of my breath. I touched my forehead and there are a lot of cold sweats.
"What happened, Vale?" I asked. I'm so scared right now, I can't breathe.
"You were screaming in your sleep, you're asking for help. Why are you crying again?" So it happened again. Things are starting to creep me out.
"Nightmare, I guess? But I can't remember anything." I responded. Whatever is happening, I don't have any idea.
"I'll sing you to sleep so you can sleep tight." He said as he pulled my blanket. Those words comforted me.
"Thank you." I said as I closed my eyes. He's making me feel like a baby and I hate it.
"It's taking us downtown. You're watching me, watching me, watching me go. But I never listen, no I never let you know."
I can totally say that he sings good. If only people could hear him sing.
"Now we're heading uptown, is there something and nothing you wanted to say?
'Cause I need to go now, do you want me to stay? stay."
I sighed as I hug my pillow tighter. Vale is really good in terms of comfort.
"What you need to know is to try and let it go, let it go. What you need to find is someone who never will let you go. And oh oh, when sunshine and city lights will guide you home. Oh oh, yeah you gotta know that I'll never let you go. Mmm, I'll never let you go."

"Let's go, the place is further than we expected." Vale said. My personal maid, Thalia told me that she chose a white dress for me.
"It's very cute! It fits you!" I can tell that Thalia is really excited about my outfit.
"Thanks Thalia, I owe you one." I said with a smile. Thalia has been my bestfriend too.
"No worries!" She responded.
We are now on our way to Occidere Valley. Vale told me before that it is a province near the City of Amare.
"Why does the place have to be there." Vale whispered too loud that I can hear it clearly.
"What do you mean?" I asked with confusion.
"Do you have ear problems? I did not say anything, Lucien." Vale said nonchalantly. Now, he's cold. What have I done though?
"Whatever, Vale." I said with a very bitchy tone. He's always like this, ugh.
I can hear Thalia and Vale's whispers to each other. What are they talking about? I'm curious.
"Stop it!" Thalia shouted.
"What's happening?" I asked as I tried to reach for Thalia's hand.
"Nothing." Thalia responded. It's like a whisper already. I can hear her sobbing already.
"Hey Vale, Why did Thalia shout?" I asked. He's being weird these past few days. I can't take it anymore.
"It is none of your business." Vale said with a very cold voice. Wow, just wow.
Our van driver decided to turn the radio on so that we can hear some songs, news and not get bored while we are on the road.
"Most of the news were all about Selene's death. It's very sudden, it's really sad." I sighed. I can clearly remember our past bonds together. We had a tour before and she was one of my guest.
"Yeah." Vale responded as if I need his response. I still don't understand his actions.
An hour or two had passed, I guess? Our driver, Garen told us that we are near the funeral place already.
As we reached the funeral place, Selene's family welcomed us. Vale guided me so that I can sit properly near the casket.
"Hello, Lucien! I am Selene's mom, My name is Charlotte. How are you?" She seems happy though. Weird.
"I'm doing great, maybe. I'm so sorry to hear your loss. I am shocked with the news." I responded as she tried to give and hand me some drink.
"Oh, that's good! Thank you, Lucien. Anyway, who's with you today?" Selene's mother said. She's really like Selene though, they both like asking a lot of questions.
"I'm with Vale and Thalia." I said as I sipped the drink that she gave me, it's an iced coffee by the way.
"I haven't seen that Vale before." She responded. There's no way that she can't see Vale, he's always with me though.
"Really? He's like my other half already. He's always with me. He's like my personal guide." I replied with a very confused tone.
"So it's true." What? Am I dumb or I just don't understand what really is happening?
"What are you talking about?" Why am I always confused with every situation.
"That you have an—" Charlotte did not able to finish her statement because Thalia suddenly butted in our conversation.
"Ah Lucien, I think we should go. It's already five in the afternoon." But we just arrived, right? I also want to avoid Charlotte's questions too, so I think that's the right thing to do.
"Yes, we're going! Thank you so much Charlotte." I said as Thalia and Vale guided me on our way out of the funeral place.
"She's weird, isn't she?" I said as our van started to run on the road again.
No one bothered to respond with my statement, even Thalia.
Luckily, we stopped by a coffeehouse when we reached the City of Amare.
"What do you want?" Vale asked me.
"One slice of blueberry cheesecake and a strawberry frappè." I said excitedly. It's been a long time since I had a meal in this coffeehouse.
"Okay, wait for me." He responded. As I patiently wait for our order. I can sense that there is someone who's looking at my direction.
"Who could it be?" I asked myself in my head. Of course, I can't say it out loud. My thoughts should remain only in my head. No one should know.
"I'm Dark."
What the actual fuck. Did I just hear a voice in my head?
