How was I going to tell my father that when I fell out of the lake, I magically summoned a sacred beast, and even more, a divine beast ?!
It is not easy when you have a crossbow and a maniacal father by my side. Especially now, that Seiryu says he will never abandon his Master. I thought he was proud, but not, it's something tormented. He is simply a God, placed under the orders of those who summoned him. "Ah ... It won't be easy to say that to my father." I was already imagining the scene: killed by a heart attack.
"How hard is it? Your dad must be proud to have me by his side." For his answer, he withdrew what he said mentally because he was something more than proud. I looked up to see him beside me on the couch. "You can say that, but my dad doesn't want me to mess with magic. I may have a problem controlling the mana."
As I already read in some books that Julie brought for my amusement, I saw that those with magic are super appreciated. Mary was also when she was blessed by Seiryu. She was glad and relieved to know that she has magic. But me, I don't feel that way having Seiryu by my side. For me it is just another beast like any other.
Julie would arrive at any moment, and it would be frightening to see an animal near me. "Isn't it better for you to disappear for a while? I don't want Julie to see you. It's better that way until you tell my dad." I asked as a favor, and saw him sigh heavily. "It's ok." He said. "Call my name when you want me to appear." He said to walk out of the room. "Thank you for understanding, Seiryu."
None of the guards saw him. It is to be expected. I had God Seiryu by my side now, one of the greatest divine beasts in this world.
I sat on the couch, pretending to leaf through a few pages of the book 'Tales of Grimmdale'. Julie appeared next, with my lunch on the tray, and next to it I saw a sealed letter. Who wrote to me? "I brought your lunch lady." She placed it on the table next to the sofa. "What letter is that, Julie?" I asked her, pointing to the letter.
His clumsy hand when he went to get the letter and read what was in the sender. She shivered, and her eyes shone with joy. "What's it?" I asked. She raised her hand and handed over the letter. It was called Ellus Vanrouge.
I have no idea who it might be. I don't remember his name, but the specific family is close to that of the general of the empire. "Who is Ellus Vanrouge?" I asked her. Julie looked taken aback.
"He is the youngest son of Count Ellias, the younger brother of the general of the empire." Explained Julia, excited by each word. Like maids in any book, she is like one who knows all about gossip. "As a child you used to play with him. You were very close."
An interesting story for something I don't remember about Evy. Removing the dreams that I take to have that week for being in her body, I only saw her alone with a maid in the garden. She was always alone after all. "So, are we childhood friends?" I turned the letter over before opening and viewing the letter. "Yes." She confirmed.
When opening the letter, he saw a really beautiful handwriting. It is different from my brother's blots in my past life. I read it carefully, and I didn't find it so interesting. I missed him for me, but since I can't visit him or he comes to visit me, it became difficult for both of us. He also described being busy taking care of his father's business, and taking care of his mother who is a little sick. And in the end, aside from wanting to know how I am, he invited me to his little sister's tea party.
"So?" Julia was anxious every second I read. I didn't have much to do, because I don't leave the house without my father's permission. "He wanted to know how I am. And he invited me to his little sister's tea party."
Obviously I couldn't go. He would refuse as Evy did every time he received such a letter. "You will, will you?" She asked. "Of course not." I put the letter on the tray again. I was staring.
"Why not?!" Exclaimed Julia without accepting. "The lady is fine." It could be, but I have no desire to get involved with anyone here, especially a family close to the general.
"I cannot leave the mansion without my father's permission." I said. She was quiet at once. He may be young, but he understands things.
"So ... Why don't you ask permission?" Julie came closer to me as she did. Maybe she just wants a pretext for go too.
"He will say no." I was sure. "After what I did yesterday, he won't even let me go out to the gardens ..." I still had to tell him about Seiryu. I can't imagine how it will be.
"Why not try? I was going to warn you that Mr. Manneville is coming in a little while to do some things." From the idea she came up with, it wouldn't be bad. It would also be an opportunity to talk about Seiryu.
"Okay. I'll try." I'm not sure, but I hope he's in a good mood.

Toc. Toc.
"Dad?" After knocking twice on his office door, I was a little afraid. Julie and no employee or guard dared to come close to the office. When I put my head inside, I saw the figure of him young reading documents on his desk.
He looked at me, sighing tiredly. He didn't smile. "Evy. What do you want to talk to me about?" He asked. "Are you too busy? I can talk to you later if you want." I was leaving, but he got up and stopped me.
"No problem. Sit down." He ordered to snap his fingers and watch the chair drag by itself. It amazed me that he used magic for everything. I doubt how long he lives. "What is the problem?"
It's actually two problems. "Dad, I want to talk about two important things. Please, before you give me an answer, listen to the whole story." He didn't say anything, but I took it as a yes.
Whether something would happen to me or not I don't know, but I have to act like this if I want to leave here.
"This morning I received a letter from my friend, Ellus Vanrouge. He invited me to his younger sister's tea party. He also says that she really wanted to meet me." I said. "Perhaps you will say no, but I am trying. If you have spent a lot of time here, then I think it is better to leave and go to this party." In the novel Evy always wanted to leave.
"Is that all, my daughter?" He asked quietly, already knowing the answer. He lived in the papers instead of me. Wow! A father who doesn't even care about a daughter. I expected more. "You know you can't because... " "l know, father." Just because I don't have my mana under control doesn't mean I can't treated. "I'm telling you, I'm fine. I'm nineteen, a grown woman. Sick. I know." Sometimes I feel sorry for Evy. "Seiryu!" But I see that she is the real hero.
"Yes Master?" Seiryu is right in front of me, still staring at me instead of my father. He is looking at me with astonishment. It happened fast. My father took my hand tightly and dragged me to teleport with him. Seiryu was on the alert, but accompanied me when we were at the Tower.
We arrived right at his office, and when I tried to let go of his hand, he started walking into a room again. All the magicians watched, and realized that it is not a subject to intrude. When I saw it, I am in a gigantic room, with a temple on a transparent ball in the middle of the room. It can only be the recognition ball.
"Walk and put your hand on the crystal." He pulled me forward, and stayed behind. Dad is serious. Seiryu looked at me and nodded in agreement.
I took a few more steps and saw the crystal. It was still shining. It was calling me in time. I heard.
My hand went to the crystal, and when I tried to pull it out, something caught my hand. The hand does not come out! I tried many times after noticing a wind cutting through my hair. Soon a shower of lights turned on me, and seeing how I am doing, I was shocked by so much magic. It was just inches from the floor when my hair flew back, but even so I noticed the light pink color change to a brighter and more silvery shade like my father's. What was happening? I dont know. However, I feel good and at the same time reaching a limit. I still have little human part.
It was faster than I thought. I had closed my eyes after scaring me with something shining around me. My hand was still stuck for seconds, and when I touched the ground again, I almost fell backwards, but saved by myself. The crystal had broken, and I only saw rustles in me. After all, what the hell is that?
"Dad..?" He looked at me. He looked happy differently than before. But what I wanted most was to know why he did it all. "Why did you drag me here?"
My father did not listen to me. He was speechless when I got close to him. Seiryu was silent on my side. Why don't you two say anything?! "I will tell you what happened here later. Now I need to go on a trip." His hands are bugged by the gloves, but I felt it when he touched my shoulder.
"Dad I--" I tried to talk to him. It wasn't easy, because when he snapped his fingers, I found myself again in his mansion office. He was going to disappear again, but I took the blanket from his coat. "Dad! What happened there ?! Why are you traveling now?" I asked. He didn't say anything, but he smiled after touching my face. It was kind, but I don't like secrets. "I'll tell you when I get back on the road in a few days. Until then, you can go to the tea you wanted to go to." He said. "Take care." He kissed my test, then disappeared.
God! Having such a father is really difficult. Continued confused by everything that is happening. First, being dragged to the Tower, and then having broken the crystal. None of those things Evy did in the novel. All I'm doing is what Mary did.
No. I don't want to be the Mary of the story. I need to be Evy, and find a way to cut ties with the novel. If I continue like this, I could be killed in another way. For now, I must be careful, and wait for 'my father' to return from his trip.
"Even you won't say anything, Seiryu?" He was right next to me, looking at me without interest. If he is proud, but I must tell you things. "You need to be calm and wait for your dad, Evy."
"Don't you think I waited too long? I'm nineteen. I've been locked in this house for most of my life." The said. "Things are not simple. You must be patient and pay attention to yourself."
Pay attention to me?
The only thing I see about change is not only about having magic. The other thing is that, after I went to that crystal, the color of my hair and eyes changed. Apart from that, a mark was stitching under my arm.
