Valerie slid into her seat as she waited for the teacher. Her joints ached from sitting all day and she wished she could just forget this horrible math class. It was only a few more minutes until the start of the last period of the day and Valerie wanted nothing but to sleep. But then... She saw something at the edge of her vision - a hand coming at her face. But she let it hit. Cayden let out a angry grumble,
"Valerie! You're an omega! I'm a dominant alpha! You should let me do whatever I want you to do! But yet, you refuse to carry my child!"
Valerie grimaced as he slapped her again, harder this time. All the students in the class ignored her and made it seem like it was norm for students to be hitting each other. She understood why. It was because this was the norm. Valerie got hit every day. It was usually Cayden who was doing the hitting. If not him, it was the other alphas in the school.
...But everyone has their limits. She just wanted this torture to end. The other students didn't want to see their classmate harassed any longer.
Valerie decided this was her breaking point. She stood and promptly caught the next slap. Around her, the students who were watching all gasped. Cayden looked at her.
"You're not going to let me hit you too! What a bad omega."
He snarled once more,
"Are you even an omega? You're acting like you are superior to me!"
Valerie glared in response to his words. Cayden reached out to hit once again but as his hand flew through the air, Valerie jumped. She nimbly flipped in the air and twisted her body, reaching her head back to look at the staring class. Then Valerie...
...Kicked Cayden in the face.
"Do I look like an omega to you?"
No, Valerie wasn't an omega. She was an epsilon. And she was indeed a superior species.
