"Charles, you're going too fast again," a child's voice broke through the silence. I turned in time to see Charles come through the trees with me in tow. I wondered if the boy simply wanted to break my legs sometimes.
"Come on, move those little legs faster you slowpoke," he said.
"What is so urgent that you had to bring me here in such a rush?" my younger version asked him while panting from the workout he had just been forced to endure.
Charles went quiet all of a sudden and watched the waterfall in silence before speaking out. I was quite surprised that he wasn't panting himself. "We haven't had fun in a while, Kevin. The way we used to," Charles said.
"That's only because you have been training the rest of them everything you know about magic. How did you learn so much magic by the way?" my younger version asked.
