Blood trickled off the boy's head and down to his hand landing on the ground in a silent drip. The lion lay with him, his attempts to heal his master had failed so far. No matter how much he licked the boy's wound, the magic wouldn't take hold and heal him. He was stuck in that state. The only thing keeping the lion from giving up on his was the slow and gentle heartbeat that came after a painful length of seconds.
Just then, the blood on the ground began to seep into the very floor. The lion didn't notice this, but that was followed by the rumbling of the Artarak. The lion jerked up in response to the sudden rumbles and tremors that shook the house. Before the lion could escape, vines erupted from every possible part of the ground and ensnared it and the boy. Ripping through everything that was the Artarak and demolishing the entire building in a matter of seconds.
