Kendall's POV
The artras didn't say much after what happened with the timekeeper. The mages didn't say much either as they'd seen a lot in one day for a lifetime. Having watched the Trees of Life get remedied by the submission of a member of a race they'd only recently come to accept as magical and worthy of the same respect as them. It was a lot to take in… We understood that and allowed them to leave, making sure to inform them of the King's restrictions on anyone who wanted to visit Dwarvenhall.
Sleep wasn't the easiest to come by in a time like this either. Everything I'd tried wouldn't work. I tried sleeping in a fireplace in a minuscule form of a phoenix (this is made sure to do in secret), but even the comfort of the flames didn't let me sleep. Dressing up in a robe offered by the dwarves, I left the cottage of the artras and went out for a short walk.
