Isaac's POV
It had been a narrow escape… thanks to the system in my head that could draw on my magic every once in a while to perform small tasks. 'I guess there was no way that I was going to go through my entire time here without finding something that could challenge me. Wishful thinking is making me slack off…' I sighed. Looking back down, a mountain of earth had been erected to keep the large mass from getting into the city.
However, the vines pierced through the earth just as fast as the age brought it up and the cycle continued, "Isaac, what exactly are we fighting here?" Jacob's voice rang through my head in a broadcast that involved all the present artras.
"Well, according to the information I have, it's plantlike and it feeds on the life force of those that touch the vines. Whatever you do, don't let those touch you. You'll be paralysed immediately," I replied.
