Jacob's POV
The fire dragons were more hospitable than I'd thought. Maybe it was because of the fact that we had just saved their homeland or because they'd helped a phoenix mature. I had no idea and had no intention of knowing either all because of the food that was placed in front of me, "I was starving," I said out loud before digging into the food.
"Did the dwarves teach you to eat like a pig?" Isaac asked me, his hand frozen with a fork of food halfway through the journey to his mouth.
"Well, no… But they did teach me how to take a load off. What have you been up to, Isaac?" I asked him.
