Kendall's POV
Isaac and the two parts of the Homage were the only ones left in the Artarak the next morning. We had come to the decision that we were going to stay in Armensia for a month and leave when our mission was done. The decision was entirely influenced by the same person that had forced time on earth to come to a complete standstill. To be honest, I didn't like the idea of expending that much power to keep time still for that long, but there was nothing that any of us could do about it.
Trust was what unity magic depended on anyway. And if this was going to work, we had to show that we could trust each other. This didn't apply to the Homage, however. Once this pair got the feeling of unity magic, they could use it without having to meet the conditions.
