Ciara's POV
Cold, warm, temperature, raising it or taking it down. Having something go so still that it was about to get to absolute zero. Losing my sight and using Ice-sight to see everything that was around me as though there was nothing wrong with it. This was becoming my life. In fact, I lost track of time. I'd been in the frosty chasm in the coldest parts of Crystal mountain. The parts of the mountain that even the Ice dragons didn't dare to venture.
Now that I thought of it, this type of temperature was supposed to be enough to send a reptile into hibernation. There was no way a dragon could keep its limbs moving at such a temperature. It simply wasn't possible… and yet, I lay at the bottom of the chasm watching mist flow out of my pores. Every once in a while, I woke up to look up at the light high above me. My IceSight told me when Regina came to check up on me.
